One of the outstanding events during PBW is Bitcoin Investors Day, scheduled for April 9th, 2025. The event brings together institutional investors and financial innovators to discuss the evolving role of Bitcoin in global finance.

Key speakers, including Yves Choueifaty from Tobam, Antony Scaramucci from Skybridge and Jean-Mary Mognetti from Coinshare, are featured on the panel, including practical examples of European integration, including institutional trading strategies, the impact of increasing financial products such as ETFs and derivatives, and practical examples of Bitcoin integration.
Also, AgentX, part of the PBW, marks the first major event centered around distributed AI agents. The day’s event is an immersive, deep dive to highlight the transformational impact of autonomous AI agents across industries such as finance and logistics. This is led by experts such as Chris Donovan at the nearby foundation, Leslie Chong from crypto.com, Jan Camenisch from the Dfinity Foundation, and Logan Golema from the Open-Source AI Foundation.

The $10 million start-up funding for the “Start in Block” competition stands out at PBW 2025
Organized in collaboration with Myriad, one of the main highlights of this edition of Paris Blockchain Week is the start of the block competition. Through this competition, organizers aim to identify and support promising startups in the blockchain sector, providing a platform to present products and innovation to global audiences.

In addition to this, the PBW will also be equipped with a $10 million startup fund. Over 400 investors participating in the event will have access to 100 pre-screened startup decks with Web3 innovations.
On this year’s pitch, 12 candidate teams will take the stage and receive their booths at PBW Startup Village. The competition ultimately peaks at the final master stage, where the judges award the award to the three winners. He is a leading industry thinker, including Akshat Vaidya, managing partner and co-founder of blockchain company Maelstrom. Nathan Shiron, Head of the IEXEC Ecosystem. On-site Hackathon and Products Released @Paris Blockchain Week 2025
The PBW will also host a hackathon witness on the premises from April 5th to 6th, 2025 by the Layer 1 blockchain platform Bahamut. Developers are entrusted to build distributed applications (DAPPs) using Bahamut’s Proof of Stock and Activity (POSA) consensus mechanism. Hackathon offers a $10,000 price pool for the best projects that can effectively utilize the technology of the platform to create scalable and efficient blockchain solutions.
In particular, BYDFI, the Crypto Exchange platform, is celebrating its fifth anniversary by launching Moonx at Paris Blockchain Week. Moonx is a MemeCoin trading platform designed for Web3 and is expected to bring new advances to the blockchain space, tailoring the event’s theme of showing cutting-edge technology.
