US President Donald Trump is working on cryptocurrency. At this point, one of these efforts was to establish a Cryptocolic Advisory Committee.
At this point, potential candidates remain a matter of discussion, as Trump and his team work to form a crypto advisory committee.
Prominent candidates for Trump’s advisory committee include Ripple co-founder Brad Garlinghouse, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong.
The name isn’t entirely clear, but the former SEC official William Hinman, known for his 2018 speech on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), will be featured on Trump’s Crypto Advisory Committee. It is being argued.
American journalist Laura Rumer said Trump is about to join the Crypto Commission despite Hinman’s donation to Biden and Hillary Clinton.
Rumer said President Trump’s promise to support Crypto encouraged a series of malicious characters to look for seats on the advisory board, including former SEC official William Hinman.
Some believe that a sudden change in Hinman’s stance will divide the crypto community and that a change in attitude will help shape positive policies, while others see him as an opportunist.
As you may remember, Willam Hinman gave a speech in 2018 that, taking into account their decentralized structure, said that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not securities.
