Dog-themed cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB), alongside the rest of the crypto market, faces sales pressure, with its prices falling in the past 24 hours.
At the time of writing, the Sheeva Dog had turned red amid the sale extended from last week. According to CoinmarketCap, SHIB is currently steadily falling on its fourth day since reaching a 1.53% decline in the last 24 hours to $0.00001262, reaching a high of $0.00001567 on March 26th.
The stock market has flocked to its lowest level in at least a week. The sale continued throughout the weekend after hotter than expected inflation data released on Friday.
It is also possible that profit acquisitions contributed to the price decline after Shiba Inu recovered for five consecutive days between March 22 and 26. The recent movement in Shiv price has wiped out weekly profits, with Shiv down 2.42% over the past seven days.
An important warning has been issued
An important warning has been issued to the Shiba INU community regarding phishing scams targeting Crypto users.
Susbarium said that it has been warned by phishing scams in which scammers send fake messages to users about suspicious account activities with X accounts focused on Shiba Inu, focusing on detecting fraud and protecting the community.
🔥⚠scam scam alert!
🐾Warning #shibarmy, stay safe all over the world! 🐾I was warned of fraud claimed by fake messages.
“(Binance) Alert: You have a new device (such as a Google Pixel 9) registered. If this is not you, please call immediately: +351 300 609 081.”…pic.twitter.com/owpkiylibb– Susbarium | Shibarium Trustwatch (@sbarium) March 29, 2025
Susbarium provided such an example. The user receives messages from Binance reporting that a new device is registered. This message asks the victim to call a number and “secured” an account.
Susbarium said this was a phishing attempt designed to steal personal data and crypto assets, prompting users not to call or share information.
As a precaution, Susbarium urges the Shiba Inu community to ignore and delete suspicious messages and calls, report fraud to local scams and fraud surveillance authorities, and spread awareness to help others avoid the victims. Finally, you should only connect with the official channel to avoid fraud.
