Ethereum Foundation (EF) In a post on Tuesday in X, I shared that I plan to sell 10,000 ETH via intensive exchange over the coming weeks to support work towards research and development, ecosystem grants and related donations.
ETH will cost around $43 million on Tuesday, according to Coinmarketcap.
“Conversions are made in multiple small orders rather than as a single large transaction,” EF wrote in X’s post.

The news follows the development of new financial policy EFs shared in early June. (opex) At 15%, establish a multi-year reserve buffer and set a gradual pace towards even more lean spending in the long run.
The foundation sold another 10,000 ETH to Sharplink games in July, becoming the first public company to purchase ETH from a major company in the network’s ecosystem.
Tuesday’s announcement comes as ETH prices skyrocketed, reaching an all-time high of $4,866 in late August.
ETH had traded about $4,330 as of Tuesday afternoon, an increase of about 2% over the past 24 hours.
