The US has been billed to 16 creators as malware that can steal crypto wallet credentials, and is used by Russian cybercriminals to cause $50 million worth of damage.
The 2022 large ju trial indictment, which was not sealed yesterday, details that Dana Bot administrators allegedly leased the bot to criminals thousands of dollars. If your computer is infected with malware, it can be used to track keystrokes, siphon crypto wallet data, and recording computer sessions.
Danabot reportedly infected more than 300,000 computers around the world. However, Danabot’s defendant intentionally or accidentally infected his PC with malware.
“Inadvertent infections often result in sensitive and compromised data stolen from an actor’s computer by malware, and are stored on Danabot servers that contain data that helps identify members of Danabot organizations,” the complaint states.

It is also said that Dana Bott administrators had another version of the botnet targeted computers used by the US military, government and police departments.
One suspect, 34-year-old Artem Aleksandrovich Kalinkin, is still in Russia and has not yet been arrested. He is facing the biggest Legal Statement of 1972.
Under “Operation Endgame”, Europol claimed to have disrupted the Danabot service, seized 3.5 million euros ($4 million) on Crypto and closed 650 different ransomware domains.
Crypto remains a vital role for criminals trying to wash out illegal profits from ransomware attacks. However, Crypto Analys’ chain analysis claims that the amount of ransomware payments being made has decreased by 35% year-on-year.
