The U.S. House of Representatives’ Ways & Means Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee will hold a critical hearing on digital assets on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
The session entitled “Make America Cryptocurrency Capital: Building a Digital Asset Policy for the 21st Century” will show you how to create an appropriate tax policy framework in response to the growing influence of cryptocurrency and digital assets.
“The fast-growing digital assets industry requires clear and modern tax regulations to strengthen America’s claims about global leadership in this sector,” said Committee Chairman Jason Smith and Subcommittee Chairman David Schweikert.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 4pm at 1100 Longworth House Office Building in Washington. The public can follow the hearing via livestream on the committee’s official website.
Once the session is started, the broadcast becomes active. Additionally, the Federal Reserve minutes, which will closely follow the cryptocurrency market on Wednesday, will be released at 9:00 p.m.
