Tennessee man charged with stealing millions of dollars worth XRP George Jones has also been accused of stealing additional crypto tokens from the women by the widow of country music sensation. Shiba Inu (Shibu) Ethereum (eth).
Kirk West, who was home to Nancy Jones, George Jones’ widow until a few weeks ago, was arrested in Nashville on Friday and allegedly stole $400,000 in cash and cash. Value of $17 million XRP from the safe in Jones’ house.

In 2020, Jones said West purchased a total of numerous crypto tokens on behalf of the widow via Crypto.com and Uphold. These tokens included XRP, SHIB, ETH, TERRA (LUNC, formerly Luna). Dogecoin (doge), Flare (FLR), Monero (XRM), and Songbird (SGB).
The romance between West and Jones continued until late last month when Jones said he discovered Jones had a relationship with another woman. In the hours after XRP recovered, Jones’ hired blockchain analyst Paul Sevenic said that ledger wallets ETH and SHIB had been moved to Crypto wallets.
“I think the defendant began his transfer after discovering that Mrs. Jones had transferred the XRP to her new wallet,” Sivenic said.
The code has not yet been recovered, says Jones’ lawyer. The 483,000 XRP tokens allegedly stolen to the west are said to be worth $1.51 million at the time of writing, but they said.
Jones asked the Tennessee County Court to order West to return the code in question and pay additional compensatory damages.
