Tools for Humanity, the parent company of World App, has announced the acquisition of iOS native ETH wallet Dawn Wallet. This app will “rewind” within a few weeks of migration.
According to an official statement from the World Chain site, the Dawn Wallet app will be phased out a few weeks after it was acquired by Sam Altman-backed Tools for Humanity. However, the company behind the World app ensures that users simply migrate to a World (WLD) project.
“This transition marks both an ending and a beginning. Dawnwallet will end in the coming weeks and provide full support for individuals to transfer assets,” Worldcoin’s parent company wrote in a statement.
Worldcoin claimed that the founders behind Dawnwallet, Tomweight and Isaac Rodriguez joined the tool for humanity “to bring sophisticated financial capabilities to the global network.” The announcement does not specify future plans that will involve the merger, but declares that “the team will focus on bringing the next generation of finance to the World app.”

Dawn Wallet was an IOS native Ethereum (ETH) wallet that gave users easy access to decentralized finance tools directly through their mobile phones. At its heart, Dawn Wallet transformed Safari into a seamless Web3 browser via lightweight native extensions that give users the ability to connect, sign and interact with Dapps such as Uniswap (Uni), Aave (Aave), Sound.xyz and more.
Security has been a key focus of Dawnwallet operations. I used Apple’s Secure Enclave to create and encrypt a user’s private key, store it in the device’s keychain functionality, and secure access with biometrics like Face ID.
What really stands out for Dawn was the built-in assistant Dawn AI, which created crypto transactions that were as simple as sending texts. Users can enter commands and AI simulates transactions, checks balance, displays current lending rates, or retrieves live data before final approval.
By introducing Dawn’s AI-driven conversation interface into the tools for Humanity’s stack, World apps can provide user-friendly Defi operations such as token swap, bridging, and lending without the need for technical knowledge.
Additionally, the World app can grant Dawnwallet exposure to the user base of over 10 million registered individuals.
Previously supported by Sam Altman, the world project has been integrated with major companies such as Circle’s USDC (USDC) Stablecoin, dating app giant match group, and especially Visa.
