WisdomAI, an artificial intelligence (AI) data analytics company, has raised $50 million in a new Series A round.
The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins, with additional support from NVentures, Nvidia’s investment division.
WisdomAI, founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, builds tools that help businesses make sense of all kinds of data, from organized spreadsheets to unstructured documents and even messy, error-filled files.

Instead of using large language models to write complete answers, WisdomAI uses them only to form the database queries that pull relevant data.
To better understand each client’s information, WisdomAI created an “enterprise context layer”. This system learns how a company’s data is structured so the platform can accurately answer questions.
Since its launch in 2024, WisdomAI has grown from working with two organizations to about 40, according to Mazumdar. Its clients include Descope, ConocoPhillips, Cisco, and Patreon.
Usage within these companies is also expanding quickly. In one case, a customer doubled activity in just two months; another grew from 10 users to 450 across the company.
Mazumdar shared how he uses WisdomAI to track operations. He said, “I have created an agent which is watching our product usage metrics, our ticket information”. The agent notifies him only “when something interesting happens”, which saves him from constant updates.
