Unprune & Redownload failed. The core seeks a "-reindex" Chain state fails

I was about to go back to an unpruned chain state. I didn’t check the pruned box. Core warned that this would require a re-download of the entire blockchain. I understand, it’s fine. Shutting down the core to restart failed repeatedly. -I don’t know how to use Reindex, so I’ll uninstall the core and assume that all data, files, directory structures, etc. associated with the program will be deleted or deleted. no.
