The team behind Wallet, Telegram’s built-in Crypto Wallet, has launched a new campaign to drive the adoption of Stablecoins, particularly Tether (USDT).
In a post on X today, the team announced a zero-fee offer to buy USDT through Telegram’s built-in Crypto wallet. This offer is only available to users who use their bank cards to purchase USDT.
The team described the initiative as the first of its kind, suggesting that blockchain wallets do not offer zero-fee options for USDT purchases.

For context, Telegram added USDT support in March 2023, allowing users to send, receive and purchase Stablecoins using wallet bots.

Popular Chinese blockchain reporter Colin Wu has revealed that the offering is currently available in more than 60 countries, including Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America. Wu has shown that the move is part of an effort to reduce costs in these regions and promote the adoption of Stablecoin.
It also brings more people into the crypto space, as newcomers can purchase the world’s largest stubcoin without spending any costs.
Additionally, Wu noted that the initiative stems from a partnership between the popular payment infrastructure Mercuryo and Open Platform (Top).
Wallet launches two Valentine’s Day gift campaigns
Meanwhile, Telegram Wallet has announced two special giveaway campaigns to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Round Upbalance
In the first event, when you purchase a certain amount of USDT today, you will see the balance of your Telegram Wallet Roundup users. In particular, purchases of 14.02 USDT will be rounded up to a balance of 15 USDT. Similarly, purchases of 140.2 USDT and 1,402 USDT will be rounded to 150 USDT and 1,500 USDT, respectively.
The first and second offers are limited to the first 1,402 users, respectively, while the last offers are available to only 14 users. Eligible users will receive a bonus in their wallet on February 16th.
Valentine’s Day Special Package
Telegram Wallet has announced another prize, particularly for Valentine’s Day celebrations. In this case, users should use the caption #loveisWallet to share photos of their Valentine’s Day celebrations in the comments section of the announcement.
The deadline for this submission is February 16th, 2025. The team then randomly selects 14 users who will receive 100 USDT each in the telegram wallet. The winners will be announced on February 21, 2025, with immediate rewards being credited.
