Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya recently addressed Shib community concerns that have arisen after the X account “Woof Decentra” tweeted that the official Shiba Inu: Deployer1 Wallet had been hacked.
Don’t trust that wallet will fire anything. Except for the known leash issues of older developments, critical systems are not tied to it. It can be used in the future to fire new tokens.

Woof Woof Decentra warned that recent transactions, including launching new tokens, have been compromised as attackers seized control of the wallet and urged the SHIB community to ignore activity from the address. Transactions that involve invoking new tokens are not mine.
The tweet attracted attention from the Shiv community who asked about its meaning. Shiba Inu Deployer 1 is assumed to be related to a leash agreement, which leads to concerns from the SHIB community.
SHIB developer responds
Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya has responded to the latest developments and ruled out concerns about incidents affecting the critical Shiba Inu ecosystem system. “The critical systems are not tied to it,” Kaal said in X, referring to the Shiba Inu Deployer1 wallet. However, he highlighted the known leash issue with previous developers.
Wallets can be used to fire new tokens in the future, but as it is happening, Kaal warned the Shiba Inu community that these tokens could be scams.
This clarification from Shiba Inu developers is considered essential following recent leash developments.
On August 11, the total supply of leashes increased by nearly 10%, inconsistent with the commonly held belief that its supply was fixed and re-exports became invalid. According to Kaal, the owners had abandoned their addresses, but functional control over supply regulation remained through an organized contract chain.
As you move forward, you will find two suggestions on the table. This will negotiate with the former developer who has not made any fruit in the past, or launch the Leash V2 with a new audited, non-recorded agreement, subject to DAO approval.
