The company emphasized the importance of regulatory clarity regarding how federal securities laws apply to the crypto market. EY US outlined his experience in crypto business guarantee, tax and risk consulting services. In particular, following recent changes from the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on crypto assets investments, we discussed evolving accounting and audit issues related to digital assets. EY US also highlighted key audit procedures that help maintain transparency, such as validating public blockchain data and assessing third-party custodians. The letter highlighted the role of auditors in providing non-auditor proof and ensuring reliable information relating to stakeholders. EY US has expressed interest in working further with the SEC to strengthen the regulatory framework surrounding crypto assets.
