Sam Bank Manfried asks Trump for pardon in his first interview from prison

It is unclear at the moment whether this framing will do much to drive President Trump. Bankmanfried claimed he also donated to Republicans, but he still supported Trump opponents in millions of dollars directly.

In other words, Bankmanfried maintains his innocence, but the pardon seems like a real long shot.

Bankman Fried claims he is still innocent
