Uphold on Web3 Financial Platform has issued important fraud alerts to XRP and the broader crypto community.

In the tweet, Uphold notes the rapid rise in fake accounts for X, impersonating X’s employees and support channels, and displaying standard blue checkmarks.

UPHOLD said most importantly, they do not support employees, as they are official only for accounts with badges that have been verified (using the logo next to the handle).

Fake X accounts have undergone a parade as an employee, and exchanges are warning crypto users not to be involved in such accounts and to report them. If you are in doubt, you should check the information from the official support channel.

In 2023, Ripple announced a partnership offered to Ripple to provide enhanced cryptographic capabilities and enhance cross-border payment infrastructure.

Uphold was appointed Exchange Partner for RLUSD’s Ripple USD Stablecoin when it was launched globally in December 2024.

What’s coming to XRP Ledger?
