Wired reportedly discovered that the developer, who used the name Dylan Kerler, fired eight coins in 2017. Two of these, Ebitcoincash and Ethereumcash, gave developers $75,000 worth of Ether (ETH) to $400,000.
The developers promoted these two coins on the Bitcointalk forum, made many promises and created enough interest to increase the value of EthereumCash 1.3 million pounds.

Certik’s chief security scientist said, “I strongly suspect (Ethereumcash) was using it by the developer for the lag pull.”
