On-Chain Thruce ZACHXBT submitted to Arkham Intelligence bounty request to discover Bybit hackers. Zachxbt argues that the “organization” is probably behind today’s $1.4 billion attacks.
“My submission was sent using on-chain data to identify the organization behind the attack,” Zachxbt posted.

Arkham has put out a 50k Arkm bounty worth just over $30,000 at its current price, and invited Intel submissions to reveal the attacker. He said the submission will be shared with the Bybit team to support the investigation.
Someone commented, “50K Arkham is poor because of such an incident.” However, Zachxbt replied, “NAH is not that helpful in knowing who it is when it is a national threat actor.”
Zachxbt’s comments spurred the notion that North Korean hackers could be behind Bybit’s hacking. Conor Grogan, head of product at Coinbase, believes North Korean hackers are most likely behind the attack.
“The Bibit Hacker (probably NK) is currently the 14th largest ETH holder in the world,” Grogan posted.
