NFT project Doodles has deepened its partnership with the Solana-based NFT drop platform DRiP to debut a second art challenge. This time, creators and collectors get to interact with Doodles’ recently launched Doopies collection.
In February 2025, Doodles launched its first art challenge with DRiP, in which users were urged to create something in dark mode inspired by the Doodles character. The top three submissions came with exclusive perks.
Fast-forward to the present, and the duo has introduced another challenge. Explaining how creators can participate, DRiP noted in a tweet that they should follow Doodles on the DRiP interface. Next, they create something from any of the Doopies characters and share it on social media X via a quote tweet (QT) by December 21st. Creators are urged not to list their creations yet, as “winning submissions will be minted on [the] doodles channel.”
Similar to the first art challenge hosted by Doodles and DRiP, the top three submissions will be rewarded. These creators will have their artwork featured on their DRiP channel, earn a share of Doodles’ leaderboard, and win exclusive Doodles-themed merch.
DRiP explained that collectors can participate by logging into the NFT drop platform and securing a free sponsored drop. The announcement added that collectors can “join the doodles leaderboard for a chance to receive exclusive doopies art and 1-3 winning submissions from the challenge.”
Recall that Doodles unveiled Doopies last week as a secondary character NFT collection. Unlike Doodles, which is native to the Ethereum blockchain, Doopies lives on the Solana mainnet. There are 25,000 NFTs in the Doopies collection, where 20K are collector cubes, and the remaining 5K are hyper cubes. Doodles explained that Doopies will be the last generative art collection it will launch.
Integrating Doopies into the DRiP ecosystem shows Doodles’ effort to bring the most utility to token holders. It also gives Doopies more room to grow in floor price on the secondary NFT marketplace.
