Transactions sent from a wallet address linked to Hayden Davis, one of the entrepreneurs associated with the launch of Libra, may help advance the ongoing probe with new data as he meets with President Maile.
Libra Case Watch: Mysterious transactions with central exchanges can advance the probe
The new development in the case of La Libertad Avanza Token, also known as Libra, could go ongoing research to find new elements and look at entrepreneurial participation associated with its disastrous launch. According to local media, a transaction made by a wallet address connected to Hayden Davis, the promoter of Libra tokens and one of the promoters of the CEO of Kercia Venture, was created in Kraken, which maintains user customer (KYC) data.
Incidentally, the transaction, which moved almost $500,000, was completed during a meeting with President’s Conference, another entrepreneur involved in the launch of Libra, Mauricio Novelli, another entrepreneur involved in the launch of Libra, President Javier Milei, as verified by the records of the President’s Conference.
Records show that the purpose of the conference, celebrated at the Presidential Palace on January 30th, was to “analyze blockchain and decentralized technologies.”
The amount of spending and timing raised concern among local investigators who had already discovered other similar transactions a few hours after the encounter. Argentine prosecutors may request that Kraken share the owner of the receiving wallet and look into links with Libra that may be the case.
Nevertheless, even before this new deal was known, several national organisations had introduced Amicas Curia’s briefs to seek direct interrogation of President Mairay on the subject.
Milei previously claimed that she acted as an individual rather than as an Argentinean president when sharing information about Libra on social media, but the recent decision opposes this concept, which could put Milei politically responsible for these actions.
Although no solution is visible, research is underway in the US and Argentina, where tens of thousands of people reportedly were affected.
