Cryptocurrency Exchange Gemini has collaborated with Ripple (XRP) to introduce a new XRP-themed limited edition credit card.
Gemini Credit Card – Announced as the XRP Edition, the card offers users the opportunity to instantly earn XRP with their spending, according to a statement.
The new cards offer XRP rewards at different rates based on your spending category.
- Fuel, EV charging, and public transport: 4% XRP
- Meal: 3% XRP
- Grocery Shopping: 2%XRP
- All Other Expenses: 1% XRP
Users will also receive a $200 XRP welcome bonus after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days. This card does not have an additional annual fee, foreign transaction fee, or cryptographic fees.
According to Gemini, the XRP edition card comes with the MasterCard World Elite, which is available in limited quantities by US users. A reflective of the XRP community from a design perspective, metal cards have the same functionality as Gemini’s existing credit cards, but offer a special aesthetic for XRP enthusiasts.
