Robinhood has added Solana-based Memecoins Moo Deng and Cat to the dog world. This has been added to the suite of cryptocurrency available to trade with US customers.
Based on Baby Pigmippo, Moo Deng rose to a market capitalization of $230 million this month after the meme went viral online in 2024.
Meanwhile, Cats in the Dog World are cat-based tokens, launched in March 2024 as part of Solana’s Meme Coin Frenzy. The token stands at a market capitalization of $368 million after a 52% increase in price in May. It has increased by nearly 20% over the past 24 hours.
The latest inclusion has been added to Robin Hood’s list of meme coins and the regulatory landscape is becoming much more flexible after several pro-cryptic government leaders and nominations of President Donald Trump’s US election victory last year.
