Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands – Number 8 May 2025 – Bitfinex, a premier digital asset trading platform (https://www.bitfinex.com), announced today that it has been the first centralized exchange to list USDF, an oversubstantial synthetic dollar developed by Falcon Finance, a protocol focused on the development of synthetic dollar solutions.

USDF is minted by depositing a variety of collateral sets, including stable coins such as USDT, USDC, DAI, and other 1:1 base. It is intended to provide a robust, overloaded synthetic dollar designed to maintain PEG.

Falcon Finance recently exceeded the $230 million locked in its recent release. The protocol supports over 16 collateral types across ecosystems such as Ethereum, Polygon, Ton, Near and Bitcoin.

USDF deposits are scheduled to open around 10am on May 12, 2025 at UTC, which is subject to network conditions. The transaction is scheduled to begin around 10am UTC on May 13, 2025, subject to liquidity requirements being met. USDFs will be traded against US Dollar (USDF/USD) and Bitcoin (BTC/USDF).
