Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, which is preparing to list in the United States early next year, has announced an invite-only VIP program tailored to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, sophisticated traders and strategic capital allocators, the company said.
Cryptocurrency exchanges are trying to fill the gap in providing high-touch services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and individual customers. Just recently, Binance, the largest crypto trading platform, introduced a “Prestige” service for customers with a net worth of $10 million.
According to a press release, Kraken VIP consists of “high-level customer service and an exceptional experience.” Each member is paired with a dedicated VIP relationship manager and supported with 24/7 support, direct multichannel access, and early insight into Kraken’s complete product ecosystem.
According to press materials, VIPs will also have access to Kraken’s subject matter experts across products, engineering, liquidity, custody and infrastructure, who will provide insights to enhance their trading experience.
“Ultra-high-net-worth clients don’t come to us just for speed. They come to us because they expect a partner that aligns with their ambitions and understands what true scale looks like. Kraken VIP was built for them, offering unprecedented access, influence, and an advanced experience that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the digital asset ecosystem,” said Arjun Sethi, co-CEO of Kraken.
Kraken also offers VIPs access to “exclusive experiences” such as F1, football, cultural events and intimate community meet-ups that are not available to the general public.
Membership in Kraken VIP requires an average balance on the platform of $10 million or annual trading volume of $80 million.
