Today we announce the first rollout of fee-free trading for over 11,000 US list stocks and ETFs, and look forward to bringing together stocks and digital assets on one accessible trading platform.
Starting today, US-based clients in New Jersey, Connecticut, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Idaho, Iowa, Rhode Island, Kentucky, Alabama and the District of Columbia can trade stocks and ETFs directly within their Kraken accounts. This marks the beginning of a gradual nationwide rollout, along with plans to continue expanding client access in additional US states in the near future.
A new era of investment in Kraken
This milestone allows Kraken clients to seamlessly manage stocks, crypto, cash and Stablecoins, all in one place. Whether you’re using the Kraken Mobile app, the Kraken Pro Mobile app, or the Kraken Pro web experience, you can easily rotate digital and traditional asset classes.
The main features of the new stock offering are as follows:
✅ Seamlessly reinvest:Reinvest in other stocks or crypto immediately after sale.
✅ Fractional trading: Use fractional shares to own a proportion of expensive shares. It is available for thousands of listed assets.
✅ A streamlined experience: Manage inventory and crypto together, eliminating the need for multiple platforms.
This new stock product is powered by Kraken Securities, Kraken’s FINRA regulatory arm dedicated to providing best-in-class stock trading services.
