Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands – March 10, 2025 – Bitfinex, a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will list Kaia, the native token of Kaia, a layer 1 blockchain ecosystem designed to seamlessly integrate Web3 into everyday applications across Asia.

Kaia appeared from the merger of Klaytn and Finschia. It is alongside two blockchain networks developed by Messaging Giants Kakao and 250 million users, combining 250 million users according to the company. It supports developers building mini-dups ​​within messaging platforms such as Line and Kakaotalk, making blockchain-based services more accessible to everyday Asian users. Kaia, the native token for a project, is used to pay transaction fees at the time of creating or running smart contracts or when transferring Kaia.

KAIA deposits are scheduled to open at UTC on March 10th, 2025 at around 2pm. This is subject to network conditions. The transaction is scheduled to commence UTC at about 2pm on March 12, 2025, subject to liquidity requirements being met. Kaia will be traded against US dollars (Kaia/USD) and Tether Tokens (Kaia/USDT).
