Jim Trust, a former lawyer for Donald Trump, has pivoted to a crypto lobbying consultant after previously representing the president in an honor loss lawsuit against CNN.
The Trust also represented Trump in the criminal document case directed against him, but in 2023 he withdrew from the case, dropped out of Trump’s CNN lawsuit and ended his involvement in an investigation into Trump’s efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s election.
Politico Influence reports that Trusty is firing a Nexusone along with Jeff Ifrah, who owns Ifrah Law, where he previously worked.
Nexusone claims it can do thatImportant meetings with key White House staffand “helps clients navigate the complexities of the DC landscape and effectively advance policy goals to impact lawmakers.”

Ifrah argues that the new company hopes that Crypto and AI clients will “actually utilize contacts in the administrative agencies that are the White House and can sit at the table as policy accelerates.”
Ifrah added that the period of crypto policy under Joe Biden has resulted in some of his previous clients losing their business. Not only do you work frequently on crypto-related issues, but you also cover Nexons Drones, Social Media, Forecast Markets, and Data Privacy.
Despite dropping out of the previous Trump incident, Nexon still works with Trump, claiming the company is “connected”, “influenced” and “effective.”
