The Shiba Inu-focused account using the X-handle Susbarium has issued a critical warning for telegrams to crypto users at this time. There is an ongoing trend of scammers who want to buy trustworthy usernames on Telegram, but this can have dangerous consequences.
According to Susbarium, scammers offer a lot of money for Telegram usernames, but selling a reliable handle may not be dangerous – that’s dangerous.
Shibarmy SecurityAlert🚨
Scammers offer a lot of money on telegram usernames, but they don’t just sell reliable handles, they’re dangerous.
If your username is recognized and respected in the community community, forwarding it means that someone else can impersonate you.
– Susbarium | Shibarium Trustwatch (@sbarium) September 19, 2025
For usernames that are recognized and respected in the Crypto community, forwarding them can result in spoofing from someone else who can scamm other people by equipping an individual, which can use the username to spread misinformation and undermine the built reputation and trust.
In light of this, Crypto users are warned not to sell usernames through private messaging or off-form transactions on the platform. It may be legal and safe to sell through fragments, but they should still be careful and properly weigh the decision before acting.
Issued warning
New warnings have been shared with crypto users by Susbarium in recent weeks. One of them is a warning from ledger CTO Charles Guillemet. Charles Gillemet warns crypto users who use hardware wallets without a clear understanding of risks that occur, and encourages them to always check all transactions with their signatures.
In another warning, Susbarium urges the Shiba Inu community to beware of fake shibarium accounts, citing a wave of imitation accounts that mimic the official Shibarium accounts. These fake accounts spread scam links intended to steal user assets or mislead them into connecting to malicious sites.
Therefore, Shiba INU holders should not click on unknown links, connect your wallet to untrusted apps, or share seed phrases or private keys.
