This tweet shared a list of steps you should take when you receive a suspicious email. First, you need to check the sender’s email, as scammers “often imitate legal addresses.” Next, it’s important not to click on the link or open attachments containing attachments. It is also important to keep your password, seed phrase, and private key “strictly private.” SHIB officials will not request that data. Plus, as Lucy said, it’s important to always check the information in these emails. “Do a web search, go directly to the official website and contact support via trusted channels.”
If anyone finds something suspicious, the Shiv army should report it immediately, claiming that the tweet “helps keeping the community safe.”
