This warning comes as Shiba Inu continues to attract new investors. According to Intotheblock data, the new adoption rate for Shiba Inu rose to 38.97% on February 9th. New Adoption Indicators provide information about network growth regarding new user recruitment. A higher percentage could mean a network that grows with increasing intake of new users. A lower percentage may indicate a mature network with a consistent user base.
With the growth of the network, Shiba Inu will become the target of scammers who want to take advantage of its popularity. Users should always rely on official channels for updates and avoid interacting with suspicious links and unofficial sources.
Shiba Inu holders warned that they are on alert
As the SHIB ecosystem expands, security remains a top priority. Holders are encouraged to be vigilant to protect their communities and report suspicious activity.
As previously reported, the Shiba Inu community has been warned to beware of fake websites that are pretending to be Shib. These fraudulent sites are designed to steal users’ funds. From this perspective, Shiba Inu owners are encouraged to double-check the URL and always make sure the website address matches the official source. Fake sites often have slight variations in URLs.
Also, keep your private key safe and don’t reveal your recovery phrase to anyone. Finally, if they are unsure about the website or request, don’t take action without first checking.
