I need help linking my wallet to the newly established Bitcoin Core Node

I’m running a bitcoin core node (28.1) and would like to use it as a server for my wallet. My node is running on a dedicated desktop running Windows 10. It obviously accepts peer connections (10 peers), but for some reason it cannot be connected from the wallet. Also, we will not use the tool at https://bitnodes.io/nodes/addresses/. Even though the IP address is correct, I get the “Enter a valid IP address” error. I’ve reviewed the wallet documentation on connecting to Bitcoin Core, but still can’t connect the wallet. Connect to various public servers. Any help would be appreciated.
