First of all, you need to check in the block explorer whether the multi-bit address in your wallet has funds. Many multi-bit wallet addresses are not synchronized with the blockchain and can become empty.
Next, we’ll take the address representing the funds and the private key and import it into Electrum, but we need to know which derivation path to use.
There are three derivation paths to choose from, depending on your wallet address format. The default is P2SH, but if the address format is bech32 or p2wpkh, you must add a string before the private key.
Electrum’s default format is Legacy, but if you are using any other format, you must specify it by adding a string in front of the private key. Please use segwit beech32: p2wpkh: or segwit : p2wpkh-p2sh:.
