Stellar Blade’s X account has been hacked to promote and sell fake digital assets. The update was shared by the project’s creative director and encouraged all users to refrain from interacting with their accounts until they recover from malicious actors.
The issue of cryptocurrency fraud has been rising over the past few months. Accounts seeking to promote digital assets as a rich scheme have grown on several social platforms, including X.
However, gamers were surprised that the official Stellar Blade account has begun posting game-themed tokens. Most fans were able to see that their accounts had been hacked before the creative director issued a message on behalf of the project.
Hello, this is Hyung-Tae Kim, Director of Stellar Blade.

Stellar Blade loses X account to hackers
This morning, the official Stellar Blade account for blogging platform X was sharing some suspicious posts. Some posts were about the star coin.com tokens that actively promote handles that promote coins. The account encouraged the Stellar Blade Community and others to click on the link and charge large amounts of money in the form of digital assets.
As if it wasn’t a red flag enough, the account has turned off the comments section for those posts. In a follow-up post, he said he did so to protect interested users from phishing, fake replies and fraud bots.
However, the typical reason comments about these types of posts are to prevent people from warning the community and the public from clicking on the link. Hackers also used Star Blade characters and images to promote the airdrop of “Star Blade Coin.”
Posts claim how many token users have claimed so far, and tempt unsuspecting users to click on the post’s link.
Most of these scams work by directing users to replica websites, and are asked to enter specific confidential details that hackers can use to access their accounts and steal assets or funds. Some posts have used the same link to the website to promise items in the game, such as exosuits and weapon upgrades.
In addition to the link, the account also posted NSFW fan art. Meanwhile, the project always shared NSFW artwork before it was hacked, so it may not have turned the users over. In June, the brand became so distant that it had shared that fans were left surprised at how official brands share such content on their pages. It wasn’t off limits, but the project is not responsible for sharing links.
The post had markings of despair related to such scams. In this way, the hacker will post a post, and only post one link, while still promising different and attractive items. There are also large sums of money promises from the airdrop. This is another thing users need to be aware of.
Stellar Blade Director Hyung-Tae Kim was on hand to provide you with updates on the status of your account. Kim said the account posting was fraudulent and warned fans not to be involved.
According to the post, the team behind Stellar Blade is working to recover the account with behind the scenes and active discussions. It’s currently difficult to say whether your account will recover and return to the project. However, users must recognize that all promises coming from the account regarding AirDrops and in-game rewards are false and that they need to avoid posting.
