The new bill aimed at improving the personal security of French crypto entrepreneurs was drafted and submitted in Paris, targeting a recent series of temptations.
The legislative initiative coincides with the ongoing arrests of suspects in multiple cases still under investigation, but authorities are working hard to end the wave of violence that has shaken France and its crypto space this year.
French officials scramble to deal with bold invitations
The civic figures and a series of close attempts over the past few months, including the ledger co-founder and his partner, have encouraged elaborate steps to ensure that their lives and safety are well protected in the face of still existing threats.
In response to the criminal phenomenon, authorities are currently taking concrete steps to enhance the confidentiality of the personal details of these executives and their families, and are trying to maintain a balance of security and transparency, pointed out by French Crypto News Outlet Journal Du Coin.
One of the proposals that has been pitched publicly in response to a call from the business world has been supported by Parisian politicians. The idea is to remove the addresses of the crypto company owners and managers from the official trade registration.
According to French Finance Daily Recos, the temptation may have used the file to identify the victim’s residence. On June 11th, French Minister of Justice Gerald Dalmant announced a new order to expeditiously implement the requested changes.

New laws to maintain privacy for crypto businessmen
Also on Thursday, French MP Paul Middoy, a French MP for the French Renaissance Party in the lower right corner, introduced a bill designed to protect the privacy of business leaders by removing personal addresses from publicly available company records.
Unlike previous proposals in the same direction, which voluntarily assume the removal of sensitive information on request, the law suggests automating the process, La Brune explained in the article.
Following discussions with industry members, Midy wants to restrict access to data that is currently freely accessible on online platforms that are aggregating information from the official register.
The provision relates to all business stakeholders in general, but also to business stakeholders who act as personal residences and corporate addresses, as well as startups and their owners, especially those operating in the crypto market.
The law requires operators of official databases such as INPI, Infogreffe, INSEE to share with private platforms such as Société.com, Pappers, and Société info.
French authorities have yet to explain the sudden surge in cryptocurrency, including that of David Barlands, co-founder of cryptocurrency wallet company Reggie, and the sudden surge in cryptocurrency, including an attempt to acquiring the daughter and grandchild of the CEO of Crypto Excursions Paimium.
Eric Larchebekku, a business partner at Barlands who had cut his fingers during his confinement, took him to X to urge the government to “stop the Mexicanization of France” and criticized him for describing it as a “responsibility” of French law enforcement.
Stop the French becoming Mexico.
Over the course of months, the troublesome problems of temptation and attempts have increased. It’s spacious during the day. The heart of Paris. In front of everyone’s eyes.
