Dior Coin fell more than 90% after it was revealed to be a fake Solana Meme Coin promoted by hackers on the official Dior account.
On February 19th, the official Instagram account of luxury brand Dior uploaded a post promoting Solana (Sol) Meme Coin, known as the official coin of Dior along with its Pump.fun address. The post was shared with 46.8 million followers of the fashion account.
Many users in the comments section were quick to suspect their accounts had been hacked, while others were joking about Instagram admins needing money.
“The official Dior coin. Pumpfun, an exclusive, luxurious code that is secure, innovative, and ready for the future,” the hacker wrote in the caption in the post.
The post disappeared shortly after my account was collected. At the time of writing, the luxury brand has yet to issue an official statement acknowledging social media hacks.
According to data from Geckoterminal, Dior Coin was launched on February 19th in Solana via the popular Meme Coin Launchpad Pump.fun, and its value skyrocketed to 138% since its launch. In the last 24 hours, fake Dior Meme Coins have accumulated more than $1 million in trading volume.

Dior Coin has a liquidity of $8,730 and a fully diluted volume of $6,430. Its market capitalization was once over $280,000, but now it is $6,430. The token description claims that the fake memecoin is a “exclusive token” that caters to loyal Dior shoppers.
“Dior Coin is here to shake up the world of crypto! This exclusive token, launched at Pump.fun, brings luxury to the digital space. It’s not about shopping for Dior, but about stylish futures. “It’s about owning it.” Read the description.
Earlier this month, Solana Dex’s aggregator Jupiter’s X account went through a similar hack. The account was hijacked by a con man to promote fake meme coins inspired by Jupiter’s cat mascot called Meow.
