CZ warns users about hacked accounts promoting tokens, and says staff at YZI Labs promoting coins will be “sacked immediately.”
In a recent post, Changpeng Zhao shared a screenshot of an account belonging to traders, a Binance Supporter. He suspected that his account had been hacked as it promoted meme coins to his followers.
“This account was probably just hacked. I suddenly started reaching out to people to promote new meme coins. My profile has changed,” the former Binance CEO said in a recent post.
This account 👇probably got just hacked.
It suddenly started to reach out to people to promote new meme coins. And the profile changed.
He/she does not work for Binance or YZiLabs. He has been a long-time supporter of BNB, so multiple of us follow him.

The account handle is Artists_voyager, and the description states that he is a social media manager and content writer for a Web3 company. They also claimed to do marketing for Binance Labs.
CZ explained that the account owners do not work in Binance or YZI labs. However, the owner is a “long-time supporter of BNB (BNB)”, so many people in the Binance community follow the account.

Additionally, CZ issued a warning to YZI Labs employees, saying that it is not permitted to promote any kind of cryptocurrency coin either personally or publicly. If they catch them advertising a coin, they will “be fired immediately upon discovery.”
CZ warning occurs one day after Solana (Sol) Meme LaunchPad Pump.Fun’s official X account has been hacked and used to promote the coins of scam memes. The hackers used their account to share a post urging their followers to purchase fake pump.fun governance tokens. At the time of pressing, Pump.Fun regained control of the X account.
Earlier this month, the official Dior Instagram account went through a similar hack when it uploaded a post promoting Solana-based Meme Coin, known as the official Dior coin. The post disappeared as soon as the account was collected, but the fake tokens had already earned more than $1 million in trading volume.
In another post, CZ responded to users and said that so many accounts have been hacked over the last few days. He said the X account is not that secure, but he jokingly said that it might improve the security of the account for a long time after “firing the wallet.”
