- Pump.Fun was the first launchpad to have a live streaming service, causing controversy
Crypto platforms have long struggled to attract more mainstream audiences. This is something that the recent Letsbonk initiative wants to change. On Tuesday, September 2nd, Solana-based Memecoin LaunchPad Bonk.Fun partnered with streaming platform Kick to bring Crypto to a more mainstream audience.
Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk about connecting cryptographically to the mainstream via entertainment channels, but no real advancements have been made.
That’s changing now.
We are proud to announce that @kickstreaming will be integrated natively with Bonkfun.

The partnership consists of Kick’s live streaming capabilities integrated directly into Bonk.fun. In particular, MemeCoin creators can go live on kicks and view the stream directly on Bonk.Fun’s website.
“Kicks helped us enter the streaming game as an underdog with innovative features, gather victory in creator-first focus and get Esos, who fully embody what we represent in Bong Khun,” the statement wrote.
This native integration allows creators to chat with Bonk.Fun viewers and also have access to mainstream streaming platforms. MemeCoin LaunchPad said it plans to reveal details of both the creator and the user soon.

Bonk.Fun wants to take advantage of the kick’s audience
Bonk.Fun hopes that integration will help grow the crypto niche with kicks. This is already important. Released in 2022 by the co-founders of gambling platforms Stake.com and Easygo Entertainment, Kick is Twitch and YouTube’s biggest rival. Especially when it comes to gambling content, the platform often attracts controversial creators due to its loose moderation.
Pump.Fun was the first MemeCoin LaunchPad platform to launch a live streaming service. However, after users became increasingly extreme about how they attracted attention, the platform was forced to shut down their services.
For example, users showed off their weapons, threatened violence, and openly ridiculed viewers. The platform faced a major backlash in November 2024, but in April 2025 it resumed service with stricter moderation.
