December 4th Bitfinex to list stable network governance token “STABLE”

Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands – December 4, 2025 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/), the premier digital asset trading platform, today announced the listing of STABLE, the governance token of the Stable network.
The Stable Network is designed as a high-performance blockchain optimized for stablecoin trading and digital asset settlement. Its economic model separates user-facing transactions in USDt from backend coordination secured by STABLE tokens. This design allows users to make transaction fee payments within a single token economy centered entirely on USDt, thus avoiding fluctuations in fee rates, while at the same time STABLE provides the foundation for validator incentives, governance, and long-term network sustainability.
With a total supply pegged at 100 billion tokens, STABLE acts as an invisible economic layer that maintains validator performance, network security, and protocol governance, allowing us to provide a seamless stablecoin experience for both users and developers.

Bitfinex customers will be able to make STABLE deposits on April 12, 2025 at approximately 12:00 PM UTC, subject to network conditions. Trading is expected to commence at approximately 1:00 pm UTC on August 12, 2025, subject to liquidity requirements being met. STABLE will be tradable against US dollars (STABLE/USD) and Tether tokens (STABLE/USDt).
