Binance has announced it will support planned network upgrades and hard forks for the Thorchain (Rune) network.

To protect the user experience and ensure technical compatibility, deposits and withdrawals on the Rune network will be temporarily suspended from 7:00 pm on 16-07-2025.
Technical details
- Upgrade block: 21,984,000
- Hard fork time: Approx. 16-07-2025 – 20:00
- Affected transactions: Only deposits and withdrawals will be suspended temporarily.
- Unaffected Transactions: Rune trading pairs continue uninterrupted.
- Technical Process: Binance manages all technical details on your behalf.
After the upgrade is successful, once stability is restored, deposits and withdrawals on the Rune network will be reactivated. No further announcements will be made regarding this situation.
This development represents an important technical step aimed at improving the security and functionality of the Thorchain network. Binance continues to provide full technical support to ensure uninterrupted transactions for users.
