Binance has announced support for planned upgrades to the THORChain (RUNE) network. As part of the upgrade, token deposits and withdrawals on the THORChain network will be temporarily suspended starting November 4, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
Binance supports THORChain (RUNE) network upgrade
The upgrade is scheduled to be completed on November 4, 2025 at approximately 8:00 PM, when the block height reaches 23,540,000. Binance will handle all technical requirements to ensure the safety of user funds and smooth resumption of trading during this period.
The exchange also stated that trading in RUNE and related tokens will not be affected by the upgrade. This means users can continue spot and futures trading without interruption during network upgrades.
Once the network upgrade is complete and the system is stable, Binance will automatically re-enable deposits and withdrawals. No additional announcements will be made at this time.
THORChain is known as a decentralized liquidity network that enables the exchange of multiple blockchain assets. This upgrade is expected to enhance network performance and security and increase transaction speeds.
