Squashing the impersonation agenda on SHIB
According to the details provided, a malicious website masquerading as Shiba Inu’s official website is actively exfiltrating wallets. Fake Shiba Inu websites display fake promotions such as “Cross-Chain Swap Live!”
It also features wallet connection options, false partnership claims, and pre-sale bonuses that mimic the legitimate platform.
Scammers pose as Shiba Inu development team, SHIBARMY moderators, and official support.
Connecting to a fake site may initiate fraudulent transactions and result in the leakage of users’ assets. The Shiba Inu team pointed users to genuine websites to avoid falling prey to phishing scams.
They also highlighted ecosystem tokens such as: shivLEASH, BONE, TREAT, Shiba Swap, etc.

For maximum protection from the latest scams, users are advised not to connect their wallets to unknown or suspicious sites.
This is in addition to double-checking URLs, as scammers often use similar domains. Investors are also advised to deauthorize their tokens using tools such as revoke dotcash if they have interacted with a fake site.
Shiba Inu faces repeated fraud damage
Importantly, this phishing scam is just one of many that have occurred in SHIB’s history. The team posts these alerts weekly because the attacks never stop.
Shiba Inu has been one of the most targeted cryptocurrencies for phishing scams since its launch in August 2020. The fraud trend has continued this year.
