Celsius founder Alex Masski is reportedly sentenced to 12 years in prison at what was once described by Forbes as “the hopeful retirement of Bernie Madoff.”
Located in New York, FCI Otisville’s facilities are divided into minimal security camps and moderate security prisons. Judge John Koeltl pronounced Mashinsky of fraud related to manipulating Celsius tokens and recommended that he go to the FCI Otisville camp.
Otisville was previously like former lawyer for Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, creator of Fire Festival Billy McFarland, and former financial advisor for Al Pacino and Martin Scorsese.
The facility was listed by Forbes as one of America’s most excellent prisons in 2009, and the outlet notes that it is often requested by Jewish prisoners because the facility has access to rabbis and kosher food.
It’s a series of hit showsJewish prisons. ”

Prison consulting firm Elizabeth Franklin Best (EFP) also announced the high praise from prison. Inmates said they even claimed that FCI Otisville was safe and “very relaxed” and “feels more like a university campus than a prison.”
One prisoner said, “The staff don’t harass them, they generally help. There’s no politics or violence. The committee is good. There’s a lot to do in recreation.”
Justin Papany, a prison consultant who co-founded White Collar Advice, described the watchman’s approach to Furloughs at FCI Otisville Camp as “liberal.”
One of his clients even described it as “the best camp in the federal system,” and “labeled it.”Older home for felonies. ”
“More than half of the camp are Jewish. I eat at the Kosher Line and eat delicious food every day,” they said.
Alex Masski is likely to be “very boring” in prison
However, inmates also argued that there was a lack of educational opportunities and programming, and complained that everyone was “fighting boredom.”
EFP clients also noted that staff were openly discriminating against LGBTQ prisoners and sex offenders at the facility.
While it may be far from Sam Bankman Fried’s era at the “terrifying” Brooklyn prison, Otisville is still a correctional facility, and the new life of machine skiing for the next 12 years is not, as Forbes put it, a “Cushies” facility.
