According to Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, the SEC’s Cryptocurrency Task Force will hold a roundtable meeting with Crypto Industry leaders on Friday, March 21st.
Terrett reported that he obtained this information from his inside sources. However, he recently confirmed his meeting with the SEC in a statement, detailing the meeting that lasts around four hours.
The lecture, which will take place in a series of meetings rather than a single meeting, was officially named “Spring Sprint for Crypto Clarity.”
According to Terrett, the topic of the first meeting was “defining security classifications,” which has a major impact on cryptocurrencies.
Commissioner Hester M. Perth, who leads the Crypto Task Force, said: “Round Table is an important part of our interaction with the public.”
