Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is gaining fresh momentum as Grayscale moves forward with its updated ETF application – fueling a wave of speculation and strengthening a bullish Bitcoin Cash price prediction.

The firm’s revised filing brings a potential BCH-backed ETF in the U.S. one step closer to reality, with the countdown now on for regulatory approval.

If launched, the ETF could significantly boost demand by opening the door to institutional capital.

The SEC could take up to 180 days to respond to this updated filing for Bitcoin Cash and another 60 days in case they see the need to make amendments.

Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction: BCH Could Climb to $1,000 If It Breaks This Key Resistance

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is closing in on a major milestone, with a potential flip of Avalanche (AVAX) and Stellar (XLM) on the horizon.

If these rivals fail to catch up with the market’s latest bullish surge, BCH could climb into the 15th spot on crypto’s market cap. rankings.

bitcoin cash price chart

echnically, BCH has been riding a clean ascending price channel since April, pointing to a sustained uptrend.

The token is now approaching a key resistance level near $630 – a zone it’s tested twice before.

A third breakout attempt could be the one that sticks.

If bulls push past $750, especially on high volume, it would confirm a breakout and set the stage for a powerful rally toward $1,000 in the near term.

And with altcoin season accelerating, many investors are looking beyond large caps for higher upside.

That’s why early movers are now shifting focus to top crypto presales – projects with breakout potential that could outpace even BCH as momentum floods back into the market.

That’s where Bitcoin Hyper comes in.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) Presale Explodes Past $15M – Next Crypto to 10X?

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) has just smashed past $15.3 million raised, making it one of the fastest-moving presales of the year.

Why all the hype?

Because this is the first real way to use your Bitcoin for staking, lending, and earning yield – without leaving the Bitcoin network.

bitcoin hyper presale

Here’s how it works:

The Hyper Bridge moves your BTC into a secure wallet, then mirrors it onto Hyper Layer 2, built for speed and low fees.

This unlocks real utility for Bitcoin, powered by Solana’s blazing-fast tech – letting you do more with your BTC than ever before.

It’s the best of both worlds: Bitcoin’s strength + Solana’s scalability.

And as more wallets and exchanges integrate with Hyper, buying pressure on $HYPER is expected to surge.

Billions in liquidity could flow into this ecosystem – and those who get in early stand to benefit the most.

To get involved, visit the official Bitcoin Hyper website and connect your wallet (e.g., Best Wallet).

You can use crypto or a bank card to complete your purchase in seconds.

Google Pixel Watch 4 software updates: How many will it get? https://earlybirdsinvest.com/google-pixel-watch-4-software-updates-how-many-will-it-get/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/google-pixel-watch-4-software-updates-how-many-will-it-get/#respond Tue, 09 Sep 2025 03:23:26 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/google-pixel-watch-4-software-updates-how-many-will-it-get/

How many software updates will the Google Pixel Watch 4 receive?

Best answer: The Google Pixel Watch 4 is confirmed to receive at least three years of software updates. This can include security enhancements, new features via Pixel Drops, OS upgrades, bug fixes, and more. The Watch 4 will officially be supported till at least October 2028.

The Pixel Watch 4 is smarter, slicker, and more powerful

It’s clear that Google wasn’t aiming for any major redesign of any of its new launches since the Pixel Watch 4 looks nearly identical to the Watch 3. The bezels around the display are slimmer, which makes the screen look larger, and the slightly domed display pushes even closer against the outer glass, making the UI feel better to interact with. Wear OS 6 looks vibrant and fresh, and the new Material 3 Expressive design makes interactions fun.

The power bump is welcomed on the Pixel Watch 4 thanks to the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 SoC. You get on-device Gemini Nano capabilities like smart replies to messages and a Raise-to-Talk feature. The Watch 4 is also the first commercially available smartwatch to have satellite SOS connectivity. The faster charging and significant battery boost are also big reasons to upgrade to the Pixel Watch 4.

The Google Pixel Watch 4 is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, in Matte Black or Polished Silver. You can also get the 41mm variant in Champagne Gold and the 45mm in Satin Moonstone. Prices start at $349 or $449 for the Wi-Fi and LTE versions, respectively. The 45mm variant gets a $50 bump in price for the individual variants. If you’ve been holding off on upgrading your Pixel Watch 2, now would be a good time to trade it in for the Watch 4. It’s easily one of the best Android smartwatches to buy in 2025, and a great companion for your new Pixel 10.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra S Pen on back

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority

TL;DR

  • Samsung has finally ended software support for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
  • The August 2025 patch was their final update, leaving them on One UI 5.1.
  • Fans say they’ll keep using the phones, but the Note line is now officially over.

The Galaxy Note series was iconic in its day, but time waits for no device, and now the last models have finally been cut off. Samsung has stopped supporting the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, with the August 2025 security patch confirmed as their final update.

As spotted on the r/GalaxyNote20 subreddit, the two phones have disappeared from Samsung’s official update list. That means they’ll remain on Android 13 with One UI 5.1, and owners won’t see any more monthly or quarterly patches.

Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

The end has long been in sight for Samsung’s 2020 flagships. The Note 20 series launched with Android 10 and got three OS upgrades before shifting to security patches only. Samsung briefly reinstated them to monthly updates last April after first demoting them to quarterly support, but that was only ever a temporary reprieve.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority

On Reddit, longtime Note users called out features they still miss on newer devices, such as microSD expansion. Others say their Note 20 Ultra is still running well aside from an aging camera or battery, with some planning to keep using it as a main phone or hand it down as a secondary device.

The entire Note brand was retired after the Note 20, with the Galaxy S Ultra taking over as Samsung’s S Pen powerhouse. Many of the Galaxy Z Fold models also supported the stylus, though without a built-in slot. But the Note series is officially done, and it’ll be missed.

August 2025 Work Progress: MWC, ERG, ZEC Updates https://earlybirdsinvest.com/august-2025-work-progress-mwc-erg-zec-updates/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/august-2025-work-progress-mwc-erg-zec-updates/#respond Wed, 03 Sep 2025 02:25:54 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/august-2025-work-progress-mwc-erg-zec-updates/

August

Node Updates

MimbleWimbleCoin (MWC) v5.3.10

  • Transaction fee limits: safeguards to prevent unexpectedly high fees.
  • New “offline” mode: run in a mode better suited for cold wallet setups (prepare and sign transactions without network access).

We recommend upgrading if you use cold storage or routinely craft transactions for offline signing.

Ergo (ERG) 6.0.1

  • Versioned block transaction serializer since 6.0: ensures the correct serializer version is used going forward.
  • Candidate regeneration fixes: stability improvements while preparing block candidates.
  • Indexed node API additions: endpoint to fetch blocks with full transactions.
  • UTXO queries refined: option to exclude mempool-spent outputs across all “unspent” endpoints.
  • Unconfirmed TX detail: endpoint now returns full inputs with proofs for pending transactions.

This maintenance release focuses on correctness, API completeness, and smoother block candidate handling.

Zcash (ZEC) v6.3.0

Network Upgrade 6.1 (NU6.1) preparations are included in this release.

  • ZIP 271: Deferred Dev Fund Lockbox Disbursement.
  • ZIP 1016 (partial): Community and Coinholder Funding Model.
  • Activation (testnet): NU6.1 activates at height 3,536,500.
  • Regtest control: can be activated at a specific height using -nuparams=4dec4df0:HEIGHT.
  • Testing note: during the test phase, consensus rules may change; if so, testnet will be rolled back in v6.10.0 and re-activated a second time (see ZIP 255 for deployment process).

Bug fix: corrected accounting for unshielding transactions spending Orchard notes in transparent balance-related RPCs (e.g., getbalance, gettransaction), aligning behavior with earlier fixes for Sprout/Sapling.

Default updated: -preferredtxversion now defaults to 5 (NU5 format). Use -preferredtxversion=4 to retain the previous behavior.

Block Reward Reductions

Karlsen (KLS)

Per the Karlsencoin tokenomics and emission schedule, the block reward decreased:

  • Previous: 29.71 KLS
  • New: 28.89 KLS

Please pay attention! 2CryptoCalc has been updated accordingly.

Kaspa (KAS)

As part of the Kaspa emission schedule and Crescendo hard fork process, another planned reduction occurred:

  • Previous: 4.90 KAS
  • New: 4.62 KAS

Please pay attention! 2CryptoCalc reflects the new reward.

That wraps up the key events of August 2025. Follow us on X (Twitter) and join our Telegram community for instant updates and support.

Devcon updates: Announcing Wave 2, a New Application window, and more! https://earlybirdsinvest.com/devcon-updates-announcing-wave-2-a-new-application-window-and-more/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/devcon-updates-announcing-wave-2-a-new-application-window-and-more/#respond Wed, 27 Aug 2025 19:11:03 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/devcon-updates-announcing-wave-2-a-new-application-window-and-more/

各位,

With well under three months to go until Devcon, we are moving at full speed toward Osaka!

You’ll hear about first programming details and more in the coming days, and with ticket sales now underway, we thought it time for a more formal update!

First, Wave 2 of ticket sales are tentatively scheduled to take place on August 6th. We’ve learned and patched a lot following the last round. We used a new, open source ticketing platform this year, and while the platform itself performed admirably, we didn’t get everything right on our configurations for the first production run. With a larger allotment online and a refined checkout process, we hope that everyone experiences a smooth purchasing process in Wave 2.

A change was also made this year to limit tickets to two per order rather than one, so while we do expect Devcon to sell out, those that are online in time can reserve space for coworkers, friends or family.

Next, if you came up with a brilliant idea for a Devcon talk the day after submissions closed, you’re in luck.

Applications have reopened today, and they will be available at Devcon.org for one week, July 29 – August 4. This applies to Builders, and Speakers of any kind (Breakout, Workshop, or Presenter), and Students. Scholarship applications have fully closed.

For speakers, this second window was planned with you in mind. We’re aware of the speed at which things can develop in the Ethereum ecosystem, and we didn’t want to miss out on any recent discoveries!

Finally, all Devcon apps are being reviewed on a rolling basis. The application process is designed to be fair and thorough. Each application is reviewed by at least two people, before a final decision is made by the core Devcon planning team. We think it’s really important to have a system in place that ensures that there is no single reviewer who decides the fate of an application – and that takes time.

While not all applicants will be notified at once, everyone will receive a decision by mid-August — including those applying in the late application window (29 July – 4 August) — to ensure that everyone has received notice prior to the final ticketing wave (in case participation in the wave is needed to attend Devcon). So if you have already submitted a talk proposal, there’s no need to do anything more.

Tl;dr: Wave 2 is tentatively scheduled to take place on August 6th. Speaker, builder and student application pages are up on devcon.org from July 29 to August 4. After that, they’re gone and they won’t come back!

Each day brings us a bit closer to Osaka, and we can’t wait to have so many in the Ethereum family together again. We wish you the best of luck with all applications and ticketing, and hope to see you there.

🦄

Are Ripple XRP ETFs Inevitable After These Positive Updates? https://earlybirdsinvest.com/are-ripple-xrp-etfs-inevitable-after-these-positive-updates/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/are-ripple-xrp-etfs-inevitable-after-these-positive-updates/#respond Sat, 23 Aug 2025 05:36:18 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/are-ripple-xrp-etfs-inevitable-after-these-positive-updates/

TL;DR

  • Following the recent delays by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, several filings for Ripple ETFs have been updated by the companies behind them.
  • The asset’s price has also staged a remarkable recovery following the recent local bottom, especially after yesterday’s update on the legal case against the securities regulator.

ETF Updates

Recall that just earlier this week, the SEC delayed making a decision on several XRP ETF applications filed by companies such as Bitwise, Canary, Coinshares, and Grayscale. These entities were quick to respond, according to Bloomberg’s ETF expert James Seyffart, as they have already updated their respective filings.

He believes this is “almost certainly” due to the feedback received by the Commission. The cryptocurrency community is familiar with this process, as the BTC and ETH ETF issuers had to endure essentially the same procedures before their respective funds saw the light of day. Consequently, Seyffart categorized these updates as a “good sign, but also mostly expected.”

Fox Business’ Eleanor Terrett shared Seyffart’s post, adding that these updates “make sense” to be done now, as the new deadline for the SEC is set for October, and it is approaching fast.

SEC Legal Case and XRP Moves

Ripple and the SEC had another interaction yesterday. As reported, the Second Circuit finally approved the two parties’ joint stipulation of dismissal, which was filed earlier in August. According to experts, this is most likely the final step needed before the official conclusion of the case. The duo had filed such dismissals in the past as well, but Judge Torres denied them at first.

XRP’s price reacted immediately to the news yesterday. The asset had tumbled to a multi-week low of under $2.80 but skyrocketed to $3.10 within minutes. It’s worth noting that it also benefited from the overall market revival following the Jackson Hole speech by Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

Despite retracing slightly since that local peak, XRP still trades above $3.00, which is a crucial support-turned-resistance-turned-support level.

Analyst Says Bitcoin To Hit New Lows if One Support Level Is Lost, Updates Outlook on Ethereum https://earlybirdsinvest.com/analyst-says-bitcoin-to-hit-new-lows-if-one-support-level-is-lost-updates-outlook-on-ethereum/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/analyst-says-bitcoin-to-hit-new-lows-if-one-support-level-is-lost-updates-outlook-on-ethereum/#respond Fri, 08 Aug 2025 21:34:50 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/analyst-says-bitcoin-to-hit-new-lows-if-one-support-level-is-lost-updates-outlook-on-ethereum/

A widely followed crypto analyst is warning that Bitcoin (BTC) could hit new lows if it fails to hold one crucial level of support while updating his outlook on Ethereum (ETH).

In a new strategy session, crypto trader Michaël van de Poppe tells his 800,200 followers on the social media platform X that if the top crypto asset by market cap were to plunge below $115,000, it could see a significant dip in price.

“Bitcoin didn’t break entirely through the resistance here. Small corrective day, however, on the lower timeframes, it’s clear that Bitcoin is trending upwards again. Crucial area to hold at $115,000. If that’s lost, likely new lows.”

Van de Poppe goes even further and says that if the crypto king can hold the support zone, it will lead to a new all-time high (ATH) price.

“Phenomenal break upwards on the altcoin and Bitcoin markets. It’s still facing the next resistance, but the trend seems to be kicking back upwards. What is crucial to hold? $114,800 Hold that and we’ll be seeing a new ATH. Right on edge with the rates falling downwards.”

Bitcoin is trading for $116,497 at time of writing.

Moving on to the largest smart contract platform by volume, Van de Poppe says that the top altcoin appears ready to make a move toward the $4,000 price tag in the coming days.

“ETH is back to $3,900 and is likely going to attack that $4,000 resistance in the coming days. The markets are strong, volume is picking up, more volatility is coming in and the joy will be back.”

The trader goes on to note that he believes there is an opportunity in altcoins as they are currently being overlooked and will see massive gains in the next 2-4 months.

“I think that the altcoin markets are extremely mispriced… Almost all altcoins haven’t gotten back to their previous levels, which means that there’s still a massive opportunity that people overlook as they are too busy screaming on social media how bad the markets are.

I remain all-in into altcoins as I think that there’s 200-500% to be made in the next 2-4 months. A lot of altcoins haven’t really gotten back to their levels from early ’25. Of course, some aren’t going to be showing momentum, but the recent move of ETH is the first step forwards to a more risk-on appetite.”

Ethereum is trading for $3,945 at time of writing.

Solana Hits $200 in Altcoin Rally as Open Interest Shoots to $1.5B – Macro Data Shows Meme Coins Ready to Blow

July 22, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

Solana is up by 24% in the last week, and this morning, it hit $204, a 5-month high that everyone’s been expecting with bated breaths.

Solana price

Many are sure this is the start of an altcoin season, and $SOL’s $1.5B rise in open interest in three days shows there’s some meat on the bone of that hope.

According to Sean Dawson (Head of Research at Derive), Layer-1s like Solana are benefitting from crypto-political developments like GENIUS and Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.

Ethereum is also greedy for that $4k level, and altcoins are burning red-hot at the moment. In such a context, how could meme coins, the degen darlings of the crypto world, not shoot up?

Memecoin trading volume is up by 14% in the last day, and many in the top 10 are showing ample upside in the last week.

Top memecoins

Adding Solana’s resurgence and meme coins together, we get Snorter Token ($SNORT), an $ETH–$SOL presale that brings the cheapest, fastest, and most accessible trading bot to the table.

Check out the potential 100x meme coin that is Snorter Token on its official presale page.

Binance Altcoin Futures Shoot Up; Meme Coins Surge as Traders Chase AltSeason Hype

July 22, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

Meanwhile, CoinMarketCap’s altcoin index shows altcoins are holding their own against $BTC at 49/100, suggesting a battle for dominance in the days or weeks ahead.

Massive altcoin momentum like this is bullish for meme coins. As traders take profit from blue-chip gains, capital naturally flows into high-beta, viral assets.

Big-name meme coins like $PENGU, $DOGE, and $WIF are already pumping, while early-stage presales like TOKEN6900 and Bitcoin Hyper appear to be catching the wave.

Here’s our list of the top meme coins set to explode as altcoin season approaches.

Ethereum.org Translation Program: Milestone and Updates https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-org-translation-program-milestone-and-updates/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-org-translation-program-milestone-and-updates/#respond Tue, 22 Jul 2025 06:51:52 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-org-translation-program-milestone-and-updates/

Today we’re excited to celebrate a huge milestone – Ethereum.org now supports 30 languages! 🎉🎉🎉

Since we launched the Website Translation Program seven months ago, we’ve seen how decentralized collaboration can result in a significant impact in the ecosystem, benefiting hundreds of thousands of community members around the world.

As of today, 467 volunteers from 52 language groups have helped make ethereum.org accessible to non-English speaking communities in their mother tongues.

Thanks to these volunteers, 16% of all traffic to ethereum.org is now directed towards non-English versions of the site. Over time, this number has grown significantly.

Two months ago, the website team set a Q2 goal of adding six more languages to the 24 that existed at the time. We’re honored to have accomplished this milestone by integrating the languages listed below:

  • Norwegian v.1.1
  • Chinese Traditional v.1.1
  • Malayalam v.1.1
  • Ukrainian v1.1
  • Lithuanian v.1.0
  • Portuguese v.1.0
  • Italian v1.0 -> v.1.1 (updated)

Q3: Upgrading existing languages to site v1.1

In Q3, we’ve set a new goal of upgrading all languages to the latest version of ethereum.org, v1.1, which reflects to current content on the site. Currently, we have 16 languages waiting to be upgraded to v.1.1, which builds on previous content. Moreover, there will be more content updated in Q3/Q4. The languages we’re focused on now are listed below, paired with a percentage to show the progress of the translation:

  • Portuguese Brazilian (83%)
  • Lithuanian (79%)
  • Dutch (69%)
  • Spanish (69%)
  • Russian (59%)
  • Portuguese (56%)
  • Igbo (52%)
  • Japanese (48%)
  • Korean (48%)
  • Greek (48%)
  • Polish (48%)
  • Slovenian (48%)
  • Czech (48%)
  • Persian (44%)
  • Thai (38%)
  • Vietnamese (19%)

Interested in contributing to our translation effort? We encourage you to work towards the latest version (v 1.1). If you’ve already started working on a lower version, that’s fine too! We’ll add any completed version to the website.

Again, we wish to have your continuous support in our Q3 goal. Of course, support with unlisted languages is always welcome.

How to get involved?

Latest Updates

Here are the latest updates we’ve made across the website translation program.

1. Acknowledgment page

We’d like to give credit to all who have helped us hit this milestone, for which we are very appreciative. We will soon dedicate a special recognition page, which will contain a list of volunteer names (or nicknames for the privacy concious). If you’d like to change your current name or to stay anonymous, please change your Crowdin profile setting by following the instruction at the end of this section.

2. Top 10 contributor list

In the future, there will be a separate table showing the names and a brief summary (i.e. language, number of words) to acknowledge outstanding contributions of these special contributors, while also encouraging potential existing and new volunteers to join our force.

3. Fill up your Github and Twitter handles

Along with the Acknowledgement page, we will be consistent in thanking contributors on Twitter. With every new language update, we have given a brief acknowledgment to the contributors by mentioning their nickname (or real name) in the Twitter announcement.

On top of the current format, we would like to tag contributors’ Twitter handles and mention their GitHub accounts in the Twitter announcement. In order to standardize this process, contributors can fill in their Crowdin profiles with the information they would like us to share. The instructions, listed below, can help serve as a reminder and a guide for entering necessary information.

Instructions for updating your Crowdin profile:

  1. Go to the [Account Settings]

  2. Fill out the [About Me] section with the information you want to share. This will be shown on our Twitter announcement.

    a. Name (or Nickname):

    b. Github:

    c. Twitter:

    d. Anonymous: Yes / No

If you don’t want to be introduced or want to stay anonymous, we respect your preference. Please leave the place empty and check the “anonymous” field with yes.

4. Content translation program

Lastly, we’re excited to announce that we’ve successfully wrapped up the first batch trial of the Content Translation Program. We also experimented with expanding our translation efforts to content outside of Ethereum.org, with the three carefully chosen articles below:

  • Ethereum 2.0 phases by EthHub: German, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Arabic, French, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovak, Spanish
  • On Collusion by Vitalik Buterin: German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish
  • How does Ethereum work, anyway? by Preethi Kasireddy: German, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese

We were delighted to be able to offer this great content in other languages. But for now, we will be shifting focus to a lot of new content coming to ethereum.org. If you’re already working on this ecosystem content, no worries! We’ll be happy to upload it as soon as you’re finished.

Join our program

We’re very proud of our recent milestones and we look forward to serving more global communities by adding more languages in the future. As always, a huge thanks is owed to all of the volunteers who have given their time and energy to support this program. If you aren’t yet part of the program and interested in participating, come join us here! 🦄

Special thanks to Joseph Schweitzer for excellent feedback and inlak16 for the amazing celebration animation.
