Ethical image generation infrastructure Tengr.ai announced its entry into the world of web3 a couple weeks ago; as the company now sold out its ‘Tengr Genesis Collection’ on Galaxis Community platform in seconds on Wednesday, seemingly defying the notion that the NFT industry is “dead.”

Tengr.ai’s new digital gift collection of 888 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) powered by Ethereum’s Base chain is its entry to the world of cryptocurrencies; one of many upcoming initiatives paired with the company’s upcoming token launch.

The tokens in the collection included multiple perks within the Tengr Canva-like platform such as premium subscriptions with several benefits including a token airdrops, as well as access to prompt based creative contents – to name a few.

Tengr.AI is an image generation infrastructure that lets users create without censorship issues or data harvesting – designed for creators, businesses, educators and more with a strong emphasis on user privacy and creative freedom. The company employs its proprietary Hyperalign™ technology to balance uncensored creative expression with safety, which allows the generation of diverse content while preventing misuse, such as deepfakes or harmful imagery.

Tengr.ai stated that the ‘artwork’ for these NFTs was entirely to the credit of its existing users; who actively participated in creating and submitting ideas for artwork through its image generation platform. 10 of those were selected to be the face of Tengr’s NFTs.

Unlike competitors that harvest personal data or impose restrictive licenses, Tengr.AI is designed with privacy at its core. It does not collect or store any personal information, and users maintain full commercial rights to all images they create.

“Users retain full ownership of the images they create, enabling them to use their creations for commercial purposes without restrictions,” says CEO and co-founder; Péter W. Szabó.

Its Hyperalign™ technology quietly converts risky prompts into safe, compliant results, avoiding the constant battle of traditional filters while maintaining seamless creative freedom.

Tengr.AI also recently announced its Quantum 3.0; an upgraded image generation engine which sets a benchmark for prompt fidelity, rendering speed, photorealism, all while retaining the existing Tengr.AI infrastructure.

The company states that holders of the newly launched NFT collection will gain exclusive access to unique and unrevealed features within the platform before they go out to the public.

Tengr.AI is also introducing its native TENGR cryptocurrency token into its platform to enhance user engagement and expand its ecosystem.

Earlier this year, Tengr.AI completed an equity funding round aimed at developing and launching its TENGR utility token, integrating blockchain tech into its platform.

Through initiatives such as the NFT collection, the platform aims to empower and monetise its community in a more collaborative way.

Double-A shooter MindsEye goes from promising GTA killer to triple-A dumpster fire seconds after launch https://earlybirdsinvest.com/double-a-shooter-mindseye-goes-from-promising-gta-killer-to-triple-a-dumpster-fire-seconds-after-launch/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/double-a-shooter-mindseye-goes-from-promising-gta-killer-to-triple-a-dumpster-fire-seconds-after-launch/#respond Thu, 12 Jun 2025 04:15:04 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/double-a-shooter-mindseye-goes-from-promising-gta-killer-to-triple-a-dumpster-fire-seconds-after-launch/

In context: Developer Build A Rocket Boy and publisher IO Interactive positioned their genre-bending sci-fi shooter MindsEye as the next big blockbuster of 2025. Instead, it’s breaking blocks in ways no one expected. Mission-breaking bugs and crippling glitches made the game nearly unplayable.

MindsEye launched Tuesday with high hopes – and fell apart within seconds. The brainchild of former Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies, the third-person action-adventure follows Jacob Diaz, a soldier with a neural implant, uncovering forgotten secrets in the desert metropolis of Redrock based loosely on Las Vegas. While it flirts with open-world design, the experience is more like a “faux-pen” world – linear at its core, just dressed up to look expansive.

Early trailers promised polished gameplay and a sprawling cityscape, positioning MindsEye as a sleek, cinematic contender in the crime-action genre and potential GTA killer. With Benzies manning the director’s chair, expectations soared.

This is what we were promised (above). This video review and the clips that follow is what we got.

Reality hit hard. After launch, players flooded forums and social media with reports of glaring issues and meme-worthy clips: glitched facial animations, non-player characters acting erratically or freezing completely, game crashes, and poor optimization that tanked performance across all platforms. The official Discord even disabled emoji reactions to stem the rising tide of negativity.

Steam reviews are hovering around 60 percent negative. Many players have demanded refunds, frustrated that a $60-$80 game with such high-profile backing feels rushed and unfinished. In a rare public update, Build A Rocket Boy acknowledged the issues and promised that the upcoming “Update 3” would deliver performance improvements, especially on consoles. Some players – once enthusiastic – are now cautiously optimistic that patches might turn MindsEye around.

While the promise of patches might ease some backlash, the studio’s co-CEO Mark Gerhard deflected blame onto social media bots – allegedly hired by Rockstar Games – for the pre-launch wave of criticism. It’s a familiar dodge in an industry that has grown increasingly comfortable with shipping half-finished products and pointing fingers when things go wrong.

Build A Rocket Boy’s Chief Legal Officer Riley Graebner and Chief Financial Officer Paul Bland announced their departures on LinkedIn just days before the launch. While their parting words were kind, the timing suggests potential internal turmoil over the game’s readiness. Whether those exits were in protest or a preemptive move to distance themselves from the fallout remains unclear. Unsurprisingly, in hindsight, the studio also withheld advance review copies – a decision that fueled suspicion and left players blindsided when MindsEye launched in such a broken state.

Maybe Gerhard still has a chance to salvage his baby from the dumpster fire. No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 managed full-scale rebounds. However, his vision of an ongoing episodic adventure or “Roblox-like” experience is likely off the table. Even if MindsEye gets fixed, players will likely think twice before investing in future episodes. Although, who knows? A Roblox-like community of modders could actually salvage the game.

Seconds, Ripple Inc. $50 million settlement agreements, ask NY judges for Greenlight https://earlybirdsinvest.com/seconds-ripple-inc-50-million-settlement-agreements-ask-ny-judges-for-greenlight/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/seconds-ripple-inc-50-million-settlement-agreements-ask-ny-judges-for-greenlight/#respond Thu, 08 May 2025 22:06:10 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/seconds-ripple-inc-50-million-settlement-agreements-ask-ny-judges-for-greenlight/

Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have officially achieved a deal that would end a long-standing legal battle if approved by a judge.

The parties agreed to a $50 million penalty, according to a settlement agreement filed in New York on Thursday. That’s a small portion of the $125 million fine originally imposed by Judge Anasa Torres of the Southern District of New York (SDNY) last year, as well as the huge $20 billion fines requested by the SEC.

In a 2023 ruling, Judge Torres found that Ripple violated the securities law when selling native XRP tokens to institutional investors, but did not violate the securities law for investing XRP in exchanges for retail customers filed in 2020 under then General Chair Jay Clayton (now the general president of the Southern New York president).

The SEC sought Torres’ ruling under the leadership of former chairman Gary Gensler, urging Ripple to cross appeal. Under the settlement agreement, the parties agree to withdraw the lawsuit. By filing on Thursday, Ripple’s announcement in March confirmed that it has reached a principled settlement agreement with the SEC.

The settlement comes amid a full-scale setback of the SEC from many crypto investigations and litigation that began under Gensler’s tenure. The agency has made a face on crypto-regulation regulation after US President Donald Trump took office in January and appointed crypto-friendly Paul Atkins to serve as the new SEC chairman.

XRP rose 9% in news, continuing its 24-hour value growth.

Ripple did not respond to Coindesk’s request for comment.
