Over 70% of US crypto investors approve of President Donald Trump’s administration’s approach to crypto policy, according to a recent survey conducted by research firm HarrisX.

HarrisX polled 1,096 adults online from June 18 to June 19, including 230 self-identified crypto investors.

Among that cohort, 81% said they follow the administration’s crypto actions, 73% approved of the policy track, and 71% judged those measures beneficial to the investment case for digital assets.

Meanwhile, roughly 49% of all retail investors described the impact as positive, while 19% were unsure, and 17% viewed the policy mix as negative.

The poll’s margin of error was measured at plus or minus 6.5% for the crypto-investor subsample and plus or minus 3% for the general adult population.

Influence on allocation decisions

The report found that 64% of US crypto investors and 40% of retail investors stated that the administration’s policy makes them more likely to add digital assets to their portfolios.

The intent lines up with a broader rise in risk appetite, as 82% of crypto investors consider the current environment a good entry point, up 9% from a March benchmark. Meanwhile, 73% plan to make purchases within 30 days, a 6% increase.

Bullish views on returns also accelerated, with 60% now expecting prices to rise over the next month, up 6% from March. Furthermore, 68% expect gains over the next 12 months, a 7% increase.

These outlook shifts accompany growing approval across other policy categories, but crypto remains the strongest area, producing a net approval score of +56%. By comparison, the survey recorded a 48% increase in reducing government costs and a 39% increase in the economy.

Segmentation and awareness gaps

The awareness of policy details among crypto investors far outpaces that of the general market. Roughly 81% of crypto investors said they were familiar with the policies, compared to 47% of all retail investors and 34% of the broader public.

HarrisX said the disparity highlights an opportunity for education campaigns targeting investors who remain undecided about the regulatory climate.

While 63% of crypto investors approved of the president’s overall performance in March, that figure climbed to 72% in June, mirroring gains in market sentiment.

HarrisX collected responses through multiple opt-in web panels and weighted the results to achieve demographic balance across age, gender, region, race, and income.

Bitcoin owners emerge as pivotal voting bloc ahead of 2026 midterms, poll shows https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-owners-emerge-as-pivotal-voting-bloc-ahead-of-2026-midterms-poll-shows/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-owners-emerge-as-pivotal-voting-bloc-ahead-of-2026-midterms-poll-shows/#respond Fri, 27 Jun 2025 17:19:10 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-owners-emerge-as-pivotal-voting-bloc-ahead-of-2026-midterms-poll-shows/

Bitcoin owners are becoming a significant voting group in the United States, and their influence is poised to grow ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Following their noticeable role in the 2024 presidential vote, recent polling from Cygnal shows that these crypto-aligned voters are aligning more closely with pro-Bitcoin candidates, most notably from the Republican Party.

Cygnal’s president Brent Buchanan noted that while the general electorate and the Bitcoin community still differ on several issues, the political relevance of this group is undeniable. He pointed out that President Donald Trump gained strong support from Bitcoin owners in 2024, a trend that continues to benefit Republican lawmakers today.

Considering this, the poll found that 76% of Bitcoin holders are more likely to vote for candidates supporting easier digital asset access. Meanwhile, 43% of all voters said a politician’s stance on Bitcoin could sway their decision at the ballot box.

This suggests that crypto ownership is no longer just about investment and is now a political identity.

Crypto owners distrust regulators and demand clarity

Despite their growing influence, Bitcoin owners remain skeptical of government oversight.

According to the poll, only 29% of Bitcoiners express strong trust in federal regulators to manage digital assets fairly, which is slightly more than the 12% of the general public who share that trust.\

Meanwhile, 33% of voters do not trust federal regulation of crypto, revealing a significant trust gap between policymakers and the crypto community.

The mistrust presents a significant challenge for policymakers, as most voters are either unaware of or unclear about the impact of some proposed pro-crypto legislation.

This is evident in the fact that only one-third of voters support the idea of a Bitcoin reserve despite its widespread adoption across US States and globally.

To bridge this divide, lawmakers may need to do more than simply propose policy and may need to invest in educating the electorate.

So, as the 2026 midterms approach, engaging Bitcoin voters could prove crucial for candidates hoping to ride the next wave of political momentum.

Results of ZCAP Dev Fund Poll https://earlybirdsinvest.com/results-of-zcap-dev-fund-poll/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/results-of-zcap-dev-fund-poll/#respond Fri, 02 May 2025 15:52:09 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/results-of-zcap-dev-fund-poll/

On April 17, 2025 we opened a Dev Fund Poll of the Zcash Community Advisory Panel (ZCAP) to determine which of the funding proposals have the most support, or if the Dev Fund should end and 100% of the block rewards should go to miners. Additionally the poll surveyed community members about prioritizing an extension of the Dev Fund and implementation of a new funding model, even if it requires postponing NU7.

128 ZCAP voters participated in this poll, representing 64% of the total number of members. The results appear below.

Q1: Which of the following funding proposals do you support? You can select more than one proposal.

  • Community and Coinholder Funding Model (C&C) (84 votes/32.3%)
  • Community-Governed Funding Model (41votes/15.8%)
  • Pure Coinholder Funding Model (28 votes/10.8%)
  • Pure ZCAP Funding Model (39 votes/15.0%)
  • Zcash Governance Bloc (zBloc) (44 votes/16.9%)
  • The Dev Fund should end and 100% of the block reward should go to miners. (24 votes/9.2%)

Note: This question allowed for multiple selections, therefore the percentages above represent the total number of votes for each option, based on a total of 260 selections made across all options.

Q2: Do you support prioritizing the extension of the Dev Fund and the implementation of a new funding model, even if it requires postponing NU7?

  • Yes (66 votes/51.6%)
  • No (43 votes/33.6%)
  • Abstain (19 votes/14.8%)

Based on these results we can conclude that the Community and Coinholder Funding Model (C&C) has the greatest level of support and that an extension of the Dev Fund and implementation of a new funding model is ZCAP’s recommended path forward. The outcomes of this poll will be considered along with the ZAC and coin holder polls to determine if there is community consensus.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this process. Thank you to those who drafted proposals, engaged in discussions and debates on the Zcash community forum, across social media, and during community calls. Additionally, we appreciate those who organized alternative community polls and are grateful to everyone who took the time to vote.
