I know we haven’t done one of these in a while, but I’ll be doing a presentation on OpenSim — and on AI — at this year’s OpenSim Community Conference, so we’ll need some recent stats!

The big news is that OSgrid reported the equivalent of 864,868 standard region equivalents this month — normally, its land area is around 35,000 regions. If it still had 35,000 regions, the total OpenSim land area this month would have been 142,108 — still an impressive number, but not 971,976!

And even with the smaller number, OSgrid would still be the largest grid by land area.

According to OSgrid president Dan Banner, the regions are from someone working on a continental project.

“They were trying to map out North America,” Banner told Hypergrid Business. “I will check with them and see what’s valid or not and clean up if not.”

For the land area chart below, I’m using the 35,000-region land area number for OSgrid, not the 800,000-region land area.

OpenSim land area for September, 2025 — not counting 800,000 regions continental project regions on OSgrid. (Hypergrid Business data.)

In other OSgrid news, the grid is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year, and there will be an annual fundraiser with an auction next week.

In other OpenSim stats news, total number of registered users went up by more than 2,000 compared to this past January, when I last ran the stats, while the total number of active users went down by a little over 3,000. The reason is probably because I only have 241 active grids on my list right now, down from 300 in January.

There have probably been a ton of new grids added over the past few months that I’m missing, and a bunch that changed their loginURLs or domain names, or who moved their stats page — grids who should be showing up in the stats but aren’t.

If you’re one of those grids, email me at [email protected].

I am now tracking a total of 2,582 public grids, of which 241 were active this month, and 191 published their statistics.

Our stats do not include most of the grids running on DreamGrid, a free easy-to-use version OpenSim, since these tend to be private grids.

OpenSim is a free, open-source, virtual world platform, that’s similar to Second Life and allows people with no technical skills to quickly and cheaply create virtual worlds and teleport to other virtual worlds. Those with technical skills can run OpenSim worlds on their servers for free using either DreamGrid, the official OpenSim installer for those who are more technically inclined, or any other distribution, while commercial hosting starts at less than $5 a region.

A list of OpenSim hosting providers is here. If you offer region rentals and are not on this list, email me!

You can download the recommended Firestorm viewer here and find out where to get content for your OpenSim world or region here.

Hypergrid Business newsletter is now available

Every month on the 15th — right after the stats report comes out — we will be sending out a newsletter with all the OpenSim news from the previous month. You can subscribe here or fill out the form below.

Hypergrid Business content update

As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve scaled back on Hypergrid Business these last couple of years, mostly due to being super busy with AI coverage at my day job. But then someone offered to buy the site from me. And, in an attempt to get the best possible price for it, I looked up its latest traffic and performance stats. Keeping in mind that these are at a time when I’m barely updating it.

  • According to Google Analytics, there were 11,129 pageviews over the last 30 days, with 5,119 unique visitors.
  • Over the past year, there were 157K views by 66,041 unique visitors.
  • From 2009 to 2023, monthly traffic went from 5,000 pageviews to over 100,000, over 200,000, and, one month, hit 346,981.
  • The total number of views over that period was 8.7 million. During the first half of 2023, page views hovered between 29K and 39K a month.

So if we have more content on the site, pageviews would probably go back up. Most of the people would be coming for the VR and AR articles, sure, but, in the process, they might learn something about OpenSim.

But then I found a few more positive indicators. Our Google Search Console shows that Goolge is still showing Hypergrid Business links to millions of people, it’s still listed as a Google News source and it’s included in Google Discover.

Also, a few other nice indicators:

What could someone do with a site like this, with all of its history and domain credibility? Well, they could use it as a launch pad for up-to-date content about VR and AI.

And, since the readers are tech-friendly — in fact, OpenSim readers don’t mind being on the raw, bleeding edges of technology! — they probably wouldn’t mind too much if AI was used to help research and create the content, as long as a real human was overseeing the whole process closely.

In fact, someone recently contacted me with a job doing just that, editing a mostly-AI-generated newsletter about AI.

So that’s an option. I could sell it to someone looking to do something like that.

Or I could keep the site and do something interesting.

For example, I’m very curious about how AI will affect content creators. These are people who create images, text, virtual environments, games — and communities! How will AI affect what they’re doing? What new opportunities will they have — and what will be taken over by automation?

As someone who’s been writing for a living all her adult life, this is a deeply personal question to me.

So I think I’ll be using Hypergrid Business to start exploring it. Maybe I’ll set up some automations to pull  in the stats, say, so that these reports take less time to do. Or maybe I’ll pull in information from OpenSimWorld, grid calendars, and social media feeds and do weekly summaries of the top goings-on on the hypergrid. Or maybe grid owners and organizers can use AI to help them generate regular stories about what’s happening in their communities.

There are a lot of possibilities here. I’m looking forward to doing some exploring.

Top 25 grids by active users

When it comes to general-purpose social grids, especially closed grids, the rule of thumb is the busier the better. People looking to make new friends look for grids that already have the most users. Merchants looking to sell content will go to the grids with the most potential customers. Event organizers looking for the biggest audience — you get the idea.

Online marketplaces for OpenSim content

I don’t currently have the latest Kitely Market stats because I forgot to email Kitely CEO Ilan Tochner and ask for them.

The Kitely Market is the largest collection of legal content available in OpenSim. It is accessible to both hypergrid-enabled and closed, private grids. The instructions for how to configure the Kitely Market for closed grids are here.

A federal court in Houston has ruled against Nathan Fuller’s attempt to eliminate over $12.5 million in debt through bankruptcy.

The decision followed findings that Fuller ran his investment company as a fraudulent crypto operation, according to a press release from the Justice Department’s Office of Public Affairs.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed that Fuller misled the court by hiding assets, altering financial documents, and admitting that his firm, Privvy Investments LLC, operated as a Ponzi scheme.

His bankruptcy petition, filed in October 2024 after legal action from investors, did not hold up under further investigation.

After authorities reviewed the case, they discovered that Fuller had given false information in his personal and business filings. He also failed to disclose the full extent of his finances, which led to additional legal consequences, including being found in contempt of court.

He later admitted the company’s structure relied on using new investor money to pay earlier participants.

Because Fuller did not respond to the case brought by the US Trustee, the court issued a default judgment. That decision keeps him personally responsible for the debts and allows creditors to continue pursuing repayment, even though he filed for bankruptcy.

US Trustee Kevin Epstein stated that the outcome reflects an effort to protect the bankruptcy process from misuse. Epstein said:

Fraudsters seeking to whitewash their schemes will not find sanctuary in bankruptcy.

  • Early crypto adopters
  • Gemini’s grand IPO debut

During a recent appearance on Fox Business, Cryptocurrency billionaires Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss predicted that the price of Bitcoin could potentially skyrocket to $1 million “one day.”

The Winklevii are on the same page with such names as former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao and Blockstream CEO Adam Back when it comes to their uber-bullish seven-figure prediction

The billionaire twins argue that Bitcoin is “gold 2.0,” predicting that it is going to disrupt the market cap of the precious metal.

Early crypto adopters

Following the Facebook drama, which resulted in a multi-million-dollar settlement with founder Mark Zuckerberg, the Winklevoss twins discovered Bitcoin all the way back in 2012. Then, they used the settlement money to make a sizable investment in Bitcoin.

After the cryptocurrency experienced a notable price surge, they were among the first public figures to become Bitcoin billionaires.

The twins claim that they purchased BTC when it was trading at roughly $10, but they argue that it is still early.

The exchange secured a total of $425 million with its initial public offering (IPO), which analysts have described as another win for the cryptocurrency market.

The shares of the cryptocurrency trading platform surged sharply higher on Thursday, showing that there is still plenty of investor demand for crypto companies.

This comes after stablecoin issuer Circle also had an extremely successful IPO.

Julian Figueroa lost 14 BTC worth $1.6 million: he says millions of others will make the same mistakes https://earlybirdsinvest.com/julian-figueroa-lost-14-btc-worth-1-6-million-he-says-millions-of-others-will-make-the-same-mistakes/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/julian-figueroa-lost-14-btc-worth-1-6-million-he-says-millions-of-others-will-make-the-same-mistakes/#respond Sun, 14 Sep 2025 00:06:01 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/julian-figueroa-lost-14-btc-worth-1-6-million-he-says-millions-of-others-will-make-the-same-mistakes/

Host of The Exit Manual, Julian Figueroa, has lost 14 BTC over the last eight years, worth around $1.6 million today. As if that figure wasn’t bad enough, what’s worse is that “90% of people buying Bitcoin today” are going to make one of the three mistakes in Bitcoin security that cost Figueroa his precious BTC.

If you aren’t paying attention by now, you should be. Figueroa’s experience highlights a deeper, more sobering reality: the road to financial sovereignty is crowded with pitfalls, and nearly every user will repeat at least one of these hard-learned mistakes about Bitcoin security.

Bitcoin Security Mistake #1: Day Trading Dreams, Market Realities

Figueroa’s biggest regret? Trying to outsmart the cycles by actively trading:

“I lost 4 BTC just because I thought I’d buy low and sell high. Turns out, it’s nearly impossible—nobody beats the market over time, not pros, not hedge funds, nobody. If you just buy and hold, you almost always outperform the traders.”

The psychological pitfalls of FOMO, misreading tops and bottoms, and emotional fire sales catch even pros in the jaws of volatility. Many lose sight of Bitcoin security when risking coins on risky short-term moves.

Mistake #2: The Altcoin Trap

Figueroa lost another 2 BTC chasing altcoin hype:

“I bought coins I thought would outperform Bitcoin. They didn’t.”

Altcoins offer wild upside stories, but, as Figueroa calls it, “altcoin logic in a suit” often ends up as a distraction.

Study after study shows most altcoins underperform Bitcoin dramatically in the long run; a hard lesson seasoned by endless ‘make it, lose it’ stories among crypto’s earliest adopters. Choosing solid Bitcoin security means resisting distractions from speculative alternatives.

Mistake #3: Self-Custody or Bust

Yet, his biggest loss came from keeping coins on centralized exchanges. He says:

“8 BTC—nearly $1 million—vanished when an exchange failed.”

Trusting custodians instead of taking full personal control is the most common error, yet even veterans fall victim to comfort and convenience. The lesson here?

“Crypto exchanges are not banks, they’re casinos. Self-custody is the only real security.”

You’re Not Alone: Epic Bitcoin Losses from Around the World

Figueroa isn’t the first (or the biggest) Bitcoiner to learn these lessons the hard way:

James Howells accidentally threw away a hard drive holding 8,000 BTC, now worth more than $900 million. Stefan Thomas, a programmer, lost access to a wallet with 7,002 BTC (worth $777 million) after forgetting his IronKey password. He has only two guesses left before his fortune is gone forever.

During the infamous Mt. Gox exchange collapse in 2014, over 850,000 BTC were lost or stolen, leaving countless users permanently locked out and sparking industry-wide debates on Bitcoin security.

When QuadrigaCX’s founder died, he took the private keys to over $200 million with him, leaving thousands of users locked out of their funds. The list goes on and on—reminding investors that Bitcoin security starts and ends with personal accountability.

Figueroa’s story is a living lesson for both newbies and seasoned Bitcoiners alike. So how do you avoid joining the haunted ranks of the 2 million club?

Don’t try to trade “the bottom or the top.” Long-term holding historically outperforms almost every day-trader; just ask the 99% who’ve tried.

Ignore the siren song of altcoins promising outsized gains and stick to the fundamentals. And most importantly, hold your own private keys. Learn self-custody and take full responsibility for your digital assets. Because in Bitcoin, “not your keys, not your coins” is the cold, hard truth. Don’t let your story become another cautionary tale about Bitcoin security.

CleanCore’s Dogecoin Treasury Rockets: 500 Million DOGE Bought, 1 Billion Target in Sight https://earlybirdsinvest.com/cleancores-dogecoin-treasury-rockets-500-million-doge-bought-1-billion-target-in-sight/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/cleancores-dogecoin-treasury-rockets-500-million-doge-bought-1-billion-target-in-sight/#respond Sat, 13 Sep 2025 03:26:42 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/cleancores-dogecoin-treasury-rockets-500-million-doge-bought-1-billion-target-in-sight/

CleanCore Solutions has reached the halfway mark in its plan to acquire up to 1 billion Dogecoin within 30 days, as it announced its latest purchase of 500 million DOGE.

This acquisition follows a previous purchase of 285.42 million DOGE.

CleanCore’s DOGE Push

The treasury is backed by the Dogecoin Foundation and its official corporate arm, House of Doge. It was created to strategically accumulate DOGE in anticipation of growing adoption and utility.

According to the official press release, CleanCore’s long-term goal is to secure up to 5% of Dogecoin’s circulating supply and position the company as a leading digital asset treasury to advance DOGE’s role in global finance. The treasury, which is securely custodied on Bitstamp via Robinhood’s platform, allows CleanCore to execute disciplined accumulation strategies while supporting broader market growth.

In an official statement, Marco Margiotta, Chief Investment Officer of CleanCore and Chief Executive Officer of House of Doge, said,

“Crossing the 500 million DOGE threshold demonstrates the speed and scale at which ZONE is executing its treasury strategy. Our vision is to establish Dogecoin as a premier reserve asset while supporting its broader utility across payments, tokenization, staking-like products, and global remittances.”

House of Doge is developing initiatives that aim to unlock advanced real-world use cases for the OG meme coin, which the company believes will drive utility-driven demand in the coming months. CleanCore explained that these purchases are part of a carefully planned strategy to capitalize on DOGE’s expanding role in digital finance, while steadily building a strong corporate holding.

CleanCore’s DOGE purchase comes amid a nearly 22% rally over the past week, as the meme coin climbed above $0.26. Market momentum is also being fueled by anticipation of the first-ever Dogecoin ETF, though its launch has been delayed until next week, according to Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas.

For the uninitiated, the REX-Osprey Doge ETF, filed by Osprey Funds and Rex Shares, will hold a mix of DOGE and DOGE derivatives via a Cayman Islands subsidiary.

Bullish Momentum in Dogecoin

A crypto analyst called “World of Charts” believes DOGE is showing strong momentum and is currently testing an important resistance level near $0.28. According to the analyst, if the meme coin successfully manages to break this resistance, it could rally further toward $0.50 in the coming days, in a potentially sharp short-term price surge.

Meanwhile, market commentator Trader Tardigrade observed early signs of increasing trading volume in DOGE on the weekly chart. According to the analysis, this uptick in volume could signal strong potential for price appreciation in the coming weeks.

He also highlighted a breakout in Dogecoin’s Money Flow Index (MFI), which suggested a surge in buying pressure.

Dogecoin is steadily gathering, growing nearly 20% to around $0.25 after a massive purchase from CleanCore solutions. The industry giant added over 500 million Doges (valued by $125 million) to its holdings, boosting the use of tokens and helping them establish it as a reserve asset.

Other news has sparked excitement about the launch of ETF, the first US exchange trade fund for Dogecoin.

The expected launch next Thursday will allow traditional investors to buy Doge indirectly. Traders expect the launch will boost DogeCoin’s price to $0.30.

The launch of ETF (DOJE) is also exciting news for traditional investors. This is because it provides easier and regulated access to Dogecoin-based projects while increasing liquidity and trading volume.

Additionally, it will promote greater mainstream adoption and generate more interest in projects utilizing the DogeCoin network.

Increased facility inflow and upcoming launch of $doge etf will have a positive impact on sentiment across the memecoin market and pave the way Maxi Doge’s ($maxi) Previous success.

Institutional Interest and ETF Launch: Winning of the Dogecoin Ecosystem Project

Recent institutional activities and the upcoming launch of Dogecoin ETFs have heightened overall sentiment in the Meme Coin market.

These massive purchases show that Dogecoin is confirmed as a legitimate asset and that investors see $Doge as more than just a meme.

Whale purchases add more liquidity to the market, lowering the barriers to entry and exit for other investors, driving upward price momentum. Furthermore, whales have accumulated 280m of doge, predicting a rapid surge from the influx of institutional fluidity via ETFs.

Market Performance of the DogeCoin Ecosystem

Facility buys Fuel Doge Coin Rally and Spark Meme Coin Surge

A report from Coinmarketcap shows that a steady rise in Dogecoin (Doge) prices is evident across the Meme Coin sector as well as the notable benefits of Dogecoin-based tokens.

Dogecoin has surged to around $0.26, showing a noticeable 21% increase over the past week. This upward momentum has boosted other dog-themed tokens, including Shiba Inu, Bonk, Floki, Doge What and Baby Doge Coin.

These tokens have seen strong performance over the past seven days, with profits ranging from 6% to 30%.

$doge market performance over the past day

The recent whale activity, which has shifted capital from Dogecoin to Maxi Doge Presale, is a promising sign that large investors are looking at potential and pursuing higher beta meme projects.

From Dogecoin to Maxi Doge: Next Meme Coin Moonshot?

Maxi Doge ($maxi) This is the latest meme coin inspired by “Jimbro’s” high-leverage trader persona. When embracing meme culture, it is purely usefulness-driven code, distributing staking rewards daily through smart contracts.

$MAXI’s smart contract feature supports Defi applications by automating pre-sales mechanics of handles, prize distribution directly in a chain.

As ecosystem integration grows, $MAXI will connect with the larger Defi platform for swap, liquidity and partner collaboration.

Maxi Doge Utility

$MAXI is becoming one of the most anticipated memecoin pre-sales thanks to its organized 50-stage pricing system and attractive staking rewards. Maxi Doge has already raised $2 million, with the next price increase expected to be $2.3 million.

The project is integrated with a futures trading platform and offers up to 1,000 times leverage. This is a feature that caters to traders looking for significant profits, despite increased risk.

Early participants can purchase tokens for $0.000257 each, and earn a significant amount of revenue after $MAXI is listed in major CEX and DEX. In addition to the price increase, $Maxi offers a faint APY of around 155% per year, with 5% of the supply taking to secure compensation.

Riding on the demand for the system and the wider momentum of Dogecoin, $Maxi will lead this surge, benefiting from Doge-stranved’s hype. Join Maxi Doge $ Maxi Presale now To secure tokens before the next price rises in two days.

Ethereum hits record 12 million daily smart contract calls as traders eye the $5200 ceiling https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-hits-record-12-million-daily-smart-contract-calls-as-traders-eye-the-5200-ceiling/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-hits-record-12-million-daily-smart-contract-calls-as-traders-eye-the-5200-ceiling/#respond Fri, 12 Sep 2025 10:31:16 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereum-hits-record-12-million-daily-smart-contract-calls-as-traders-eye-the-5200-ceiling/

Per CryptoQuant’s second September weekly report, Ethereum’s latest uptrend from about $1,400 in April to a high near $5,000 has unfolded alongside heavier allocations in funds and whale accumulation, a pullback in exchange deposits, and activity peaks across transactions, addresses, and smart-contract calls.

Ethereum trades below a realized price band of $5,200 while fund holdings and on-chain use hit records.

The report frames the next phase around whether price can clear the realized price upper band that capped prior advances.

According to CryptoQuant, Ethereum fund holdings, driven largely by U.S. spot ETFs, have reached 6.7 million ETH, nearly double since April. Addresses holding 10,000 to 100,000 ETH added roughly 6 million ETH over the same period, with this cohort now at 20.6 million ETH, a new high.

The “smart money” share embedded in those balances means a material portion of demand is already in place, compressing the room for momentum to do the heavy lifting without fresh flows. The charts on page 2 of the report show both the fund-holding curve and cohort balances making new peaks.

Staking has climbed in parallel.

The total ETH staked stands at around 36.2 million, up by roughly 2.5 million ETH since May. The rising validator count reduces circulating supply and supports a tighter float, yet it also sequesters capital that would otherwise meet new demand if price drifts or volumes thin out.

That mix of lower float and higher commitment from validators helps explain why spot market pressure can ease even when price consolidates.

On-chain throughput has expanded. Total daily transactions peaked at about 1.7 million on August 16, and active addresses reached roughly 800,000 on August 5, both new highs, per the network dashboards. Smart-contract calls surpassed 12 million daily for the first time, marking the heaviest programmatic use of the base layer so far.

Elevated usage across DeFi, stablecoin transfers, and token activity builds fee revenue and reinforces the settlement-layer role that underpins ETH’s cash-flow and utility narratives. If activity cools, volatility often follows as price discovers the correct multiple on lower throughput.

Spot-side supply pressure has eased.

CryptoQuant’s exchange-inflow series shows deposits to centralized venues falling from roughly 1.8 million ETH in mid-August to about 750,000 ETH per day after the early-September price high.

Fewer coins moving to exchanges typically line up with thinner realized selling, which aids stability during retests. Low inflows can also coincide with quieter order books, so prices can travel more on smaller trades if a catalyst lands.

The technical fulcrum is the realized price upper band near $5,200. CryptoQuant plots that level as the region that repelled advances in 2020–2021 and again in early 2024. ETH trades around $4,400 in the report window, so the market sits one step below a threshold with a track record of pausing uptrends.

Clearing that zone would shift trading into territory where realized holders, on average, sit deeper in profit, and where supply forces depend more on whether newer inflows outpace long-dated distribution.

The flow picture offers a simple checklist for the weeks ahead.

Fund holdings are already at a record, so incremental net creations matter more than absolute size. Whale cohorts hold over 20 million ETH, so net additions from this group carry outsized weight versus retail churn.

Staking is at 36 million ETH, so any acceleration or slowdown in validator deposits will change the liquid float at the margin. Exchange inflows are subdued compared with August, so watch whether that series stays compressed or reverts as price revisits prior highs. All four lines are visible across the report’s holdings, staking, network, and inflow charts.

For valuation context, CryptoQuant ties the April-to-September advance to a dual engine of institutional participation and on-chain throughput. That framing pairs the top-down demand capture of ETFs with bottom-up settlement use across DeFi and tokens.

It also leaves room for periods where activity outruns price or vice versa. In those phases, realized bands and exchange-flow gauges help separate consolidation from distribution, especially when positioning is already heavy among large holders.

The near-term setup, therefore, revolves around whether ETH holds its footing into a second attempt at the realized band, with funds, whales, staking, and activity providing most of the signal on whether the cycle keeps its pace or pauses.

According to the report, the realized price upper band near $5,200 remains the level in focus.

Federal prosecutors in Albany are chasing more than $12 million USDT, They say it It was You are bound by crypto investment scams. Cases for confiscation of citizens

The government uses citizen confiscation to recover stolen codes. This approach allows for the seizing of suspected crime-bound assets without a criminal conviction. It has become a reliable way to deal with crypto fraud cases. The idea is simple. They freeze the assets before they disappear and try to return them to their legitimate ownership.

Part of a larger pattern

This is not the first time the Department of Justice has taken this route. Earlier this year, it filed a similar lawsuit, including $225 million in USDT in connection with pig slaughter fraud. It was the biggest USDT attack on record. In that case, law enforcement worked with Tether and blockchain analysts to track and freeze the funds. The same kind of teamwork is unfolding here again.

Confiscation of citizens for the victims

Citizens’ confiscation was primarily seen as a way for criminals to block the use of stolen money. It is now becoming a way to give victims a path to recovery. By quickly identifying and freezing suspicious wallets, staff can prevent stolen funds from being moved through the mixer or cashed out. If the court approves the forfeiture, those funds can ultimately be returned to those who lost them.

What’s coming next

The next step is for the court to determine whether the seized funds are clearly linked to illegal activities. If so, the government can take legal ownership of the property. It would open the door for victim compensation. The case also prepares for a wider effort to make the crypto market safer. Prosecutors want that strong Enforcement, combined with faster collaboration between platforms, prevents future fraud from becoming this big.

that came from a fraudulent online investment scheme.

The funds were traced to digital wallets tied to a fake trading platform, according to a civil complaint filed on September 5 in Albany and publicly confirmed on September 9.

The Department of Justice stated that the platform lured people into depositing money outside of its main interface.

The case outlines how those behind the scam used messaging apps to initiate contact and build trust before directing victims toward the fake exchange.

According to the filing, ten people who spoke Mandarin were first contacted through random text messages. These interactions shifted toward conversations about investing, which eventually pointed victims to a fraudulent website called ShakepayEX.

The website mimicked the design of a real Canadian exchange, which makes it seem reliable.

Once users sent their money in, they could not withdraw it. The scammers gave excuses like additional fees or new requirements, and continued asking for more money. Investigators said these tactics resulted in total losses exceeding $10 million.

Prosecutors noted that the case shows how civil forfeiture can be used to freeze stablecoin funds quickly. With help from companies like Tether, the US government is working to block such funds on-chain.

Acting US Attorney Sarcone described crypto investment fraud as a growing threat. He noted that people across the country are being targeted by schemes that operate internationally.

Crypto Market Prediction: Ripple's RLUSD's $200 Million Surge, Dogecoin's Big $0.24 Surprise, Ethereum's Calm Before $5,000 Storm https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-market-prediction-ripples-rlusds-200-million-surge-dogecoins-big-0-24-surprise-ethereums-calm-before-5000-storm/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-market-prediction-ripples-rlusds-200-million-surge-dogecoins-big-0-24-surprise-ethereums-calm-before-5000-storm/#respond Thu, 11 Sep 2025 03:11:38 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-market-prediction-ripples-rlusds-200-million-surge-dogecoins-big-0-24-surprise-ethereums-calm-before-5000-storm/

The cryptocurrency market recovered quite well on Sept. 11, pushing new boundaries of the bearish market further and potentially making even more progress than anticipated. The surge in RLUSD volume could suggest more careful positioning, though. In our most recent market prediction, we broke down how bulls started coming back.

RLUSDT volume spike

Around $200 million have moved through Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, in the past day, marking a huge spike in trading volume. This spike is garnering attention throughout the cryptocurrency market, for a token that normally keeps a low-key, stable profile as a USD-pegged stablecoin.

There could be a number of causes for this kind of movement. In order to protect themselves from the volatility of more risky assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum, institutional players may be moving their money into RLUSD. Stablecoins are probably being used as a safe haven by some traders due to recent volatility in altcoins and significant inflows into exchanges.

  • The volume might indicate early activity from payment corridors opening up behind the scenes, given Ripple’s continuous push for adoption in cross-border payments and settlements. The main lesson learned from the spike is that RLUSD remains steady, bolstering trust in its peg mechanism.

  • If the volume rise continues, it may signal the start of a larger uptake of Ripple’s stablecoin on payment and trading platforms. Investors should monitor whether the higher demand results in deeper liquidity across exchanges in the near future, as this would make the RLUSD a more dependable trading pair.

In general, speculation is less important than the overall positioning of the cryptocurrency market when it comes to RLUSD’s $200 million volume surge. In a way, it draws attention to the rising need for stability on an unpredictable market and suggests that Ripple’s stablecoin might become more significant in future global liquidity flows.

How good can DOGE be?

Dogecoin has performed surprisingly well, breaking through the $0.24 mark, which few had predicted given its slow performance in recent months. DOGE — which was once thought to be a meme-driven asset vulnerable to hype cycles — is now exhibiting resilience, defying general market uncertainty and proving its capacity to surprise both ardent supporters and doubters.

The 100-day and 200-day EMAs of Dogecoin have been a solid base for buyers, and the cryptocurrency has continuously respected important support zones in the $0.21-$0.22 range in recent weeks. With bulls intervening at pivotal points, the recovery from these levels and the break above short-term moving averages suggest that momentum is improving.

Additionally, there has been a slight increase in trading volume, which could indicate that fresh market interest is emerging. The RSI, which is close to 59, indicates that bullish pressure is increasing without being overbought. This allows for more upside before reaching harsh circumstances.

If DOGE stays above $0.24, the next logical resistance is located between $0.27 and $0.28, where earlier rallies this summer were capped. A run toward $0.30, which would represent a major psychological milestone, might be possible if that zone is successfully broken. The fact that this rally coincides with a decline in the enthusiasm surrounding meme coins is what makes it so intriguing.

It appears that technical strength and accumulation rather than speculative mania were the driving forces behind DOGE’s move. Dogecoin may start to establish a reputation as a reliable mid-cap cryptocurrency with steady investor support if this trend keeps up. In summary, Dogecoin has resurfaced as a contender in the current market cycle after its unexpected breakout above $0.24 has dispelled bearish expectations.

Ethereum too quiet

With price action settling in the $4,300 range and volatility at all-time lows, Ethereum is exhibiting an unusual calm. The second-largest cryptocurrency believes that this quiet time is misleading and could be a risky prelude to a storm.

With tight candles and little volume, ETH has been trading sideways on the charts for more than a week. The market seems to be losing liquidity, which suggests that traders are holding off until something clear happens. In the past, these periods of inaction frequently came before violent outbursts.

Ethereum is holding at high levels without either buyers or sellers controlling the market, which is more concerning than just the lack of movement. This implies that it might release a surge strong enough to destroy everything in its path when momentum eventually returns.

Title news

The thesis is supported by technical indicators. There is still plenty of opportunity for growth as the RSI is neutral but balanced at 51. Ethereum, meanwhile, is still trading above its 50-day EMA, indicating that the bullish structure is still in place even in the absence of any immediate action.

Failure to hold current levels could result in a retest of $4,100 or even $3,800, while a clean breakout above $4,500 could pave the way to the eagerly anticipated $5,000 mark. Because there is less liquidity, there is a greater chance that a sudden surge in buying pressure will lead to a series of short liquidations, which would send ETH skyrocketing.

On the other hand, if bears take advantage of the situation, the same lack of liquidity may accelerate a sharp decline. Although Ethereum’s silence is unsettling, it also prepares the market for the next pivotal action.

The storm has the potential to propel ETH to new heights with $5,000 as the main target if bulls make a strong comeback. The calm should be interpreted as a warning rather than a sign of safety until that time.

The general state of the market is cautiously positive. With the comeback of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other grands, smaller assets are gaining more traction and might show us long-awaited recoveries. Unfortunately, if stablecoin volumes keep on growing, it would be a sign of a bearish shift.
