Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is gaining fresh momentum as Grayscale moves forward with its updated ETF application – fueling a wave of speculation and strengthening a bullish Bitcoin Cash price prediction.

The firm’s revised filing brings a potential BCH-backed ETF in the U.S. one step closer to reality, with the countdown now on for regulatory approval.

If launched, the ETF could significantly boost demand by opening the door to institutional capital.

The SEC could take up to 180 days to respond to this updated filing for Bitcoin Cash and another 60 days in case they see the need to make amendments.

Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction: BCH Could Climb to $1,000 If It Breaks This Key Resistance

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is closing in on a major milestone, with a potential flip of Avalanche (AVAX) and Stellar (XLM) on the horizon.

If these rivals fail to catch up with the market’s latest bullish surge, BCH could climb into the 15th spot on crypto’s market cap. rankings.

bitcoin cash price chart

echnically, BCH has been riding a clean ascending price channel since April, pointing to a sustained uptrend.

The token is now approaching a key resistance level near $630 – a zone it’s tested twice before.

A third breakout attempt could be the one that sticks.

If bulls push past $750, especially on high volume, it would confirm a breakout and set the stage for a powerful rally toward $1,000 in the near term.

And with altcoin season accelerating, many investors are looking beyond large caps for higher upside.

That’s why early movers are now shifting focus to top crypto presales – projects with breakout potential that could outpace even BCH as momentum floods back into the market.

That’s where Bitcoin Hyper comes in.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) Presale Explodes Past $15M – Next Crypto to 10X?

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) has just smashed past $15.3 million raised, making it one of the fastest-moving presales of the year.

Why all the hype?

Because this is the first real way to use your Bitcoin for staking, lending, and earning yield – without leaving the Bitcoin network.

bitcoin hyper presale

Here’s how it works:

The Hyper Bridge moves your BTC into a secure wallet, then mirrors it onto Hyper Layer 2, built for speed and low fees.

This unlocks real utility for Bitcoin, powered by Solana’s blazing-fast tech – letting you do more with your BTC than ever before.

It’s the best of both worlds: Bitcoin’s strength + Solana’s scalability.

And as more wallets and exchanges integrate with Hyper, buying pressure on $HYPER is expected to surge.

Billions in liquidity could flow into this ecosystem – and those who get in early stand to benefit the most.

To get involved, visit the official Bitcoin Hyper website and connect your wallet (e.g., Best Wallet).

You can use crypto or a bank card to complete your purchase in seconds.

Grayscale Seeks SEC Nod for Bitcoin Cash and Hedera ETFs https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-seeks-sec-nod-for-bitcoin-cash-and-hedera-etfs/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-seeks-sec-nod-for-bitcoin-cash-and-hedera-etfs/#respond Tue, 09 Sep 2025 21:28:51 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-seeks-sec-nod-for-bitcoin-cash-and-hedera-etfs/

Grayscale filed paperwork with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday for three crypto exchange-traded funds, expanding its roster of potential offerings as issuers jockey for regulatory approval.

The asset manager submitted an S-1 registration for a Litecoin ETF, a move that follows its earlier bid to convert the Grayscale Litecoin Trust into an ETF.

At the same time, it lodged S-3 filings for exchange-traded funds tied to Bitcoin Cash and Hedera . If approved, the products would join a lineup that already includes spot bitcoin and ether ETFs launched last year.

The filings underscore Grayscale’s push to diversify its crypto-linked investment products while regulators weigh how far to open the door to such funds. Just a day earlier, the firm sought to convert its Chainlink Trust into an ETF, signaling a rapid pace of applications despite regulatory uncertainty.

Grayscale is not alone. Fidelity, VanEck and several other issuers have lined up proposals for digital-asset funds in hopes that the SEC will sign off on more products later this year. Industry executives say broader approval could help mainstream investors gain exposure to cryptocurrencies through regulated markets, while potentially easing concerns about custody and transparency.

For now, the SEC under Chair Paul Atkins has delayed decisions on a range of crypto ETF applications. A green light from regulators would give investors a way to trade crypto exposure alongside traditional securities in brokerage accounts.

Grayscale files to convert $30 million Chainlink trust into staking ETF on NYSE Arca https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-to-convert-30-million-chainlink-trust-into-staking-etf-on-nyse-arca/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-to-convert-30-million-chainlink-trust-into-staking-etf-on-nyse-arca/#respond Mon, 08 Sep 2025 13:17:14 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-to-convert-30-million-chainlink-trust-into-staking-etf-on-nyse-arca/

Grayscale Investments has filed fresh paperwork with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), seeking to convert its Chainlink Trust into an exchange-traded fund ETF).

The filing, submitted Sept. 5, would allow the $28.7 million vehicle to trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker GLNK once approved.

The company said the shift is designed to give investors regulated access to Chainlink’s price performance without the need to manage or secure the tokens directly.

Essentially, Grayscale aims to lower custody risks while offering exposure through traditional markets by using an ETF structure.

Before the ETF can launch, Grayscale must file a corresponding 19b-4 submission, a procedural step that requires SEC approval.

Grayscale’s Chainlink ETF structure

Grayscale stated that its proposed ETF could allow some of the tokens held in the trust to be staked.

In that scenario, the asset management firm said it would rely on third-party providers to keep tokens in custodian wallets.

The firm emphasized that the fund will use a cash-based creation and redemption model.

While the SEC has recently approved in-kind standards for other digital asset ETFs, Grayscale noted that it remains uncertain how quickly market participants will adapt.

The company also indicated that NYSE Arca could eventually seek regulatory clearance to update its listing rules to accommodate in-kind transactions.

According to the filing, CSC Delaware Trust Company will serve as trustee, while The Bank of New York Mellon will act as both transfer agent and administrator. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company will function as the co-transfer agent, and Coinbase will provide prime brokerage and custody services.

Crypto ETFs

The application marks another attempt by Grayscale to broaden investor access to cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Its current applications already cover multiple assets, including Solana and XRP, reflecting growing institutional interest in altcoins.

Market analysts argue that these applications reflect rising institutional interest in altcoins.

Nate Geraci, president of Nova Dius Wealth, pointed out that major exchanges are collaborating with the SEC on standard frameworks for spot crypto ETF listings.

He said such rules could be finalized by October, potentially clearing the way for multiple altcoin products to enter the market.

Asset investment company Grayscale has now filed the Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on its application to offer investors a Dogecoin Spot ETF. This move comes as the securities regulator is expected to communicate its approval decision on the proposed ETF around mid-October 2025.

The Grayscale Dogecoin Trust (DOGE)

In February 2025, the SEC popularly acknowledged the 19-4b form by the New York Stock Exchange to list and trade Grayscale Dogecoin Trust as an exchange-traded fund (ETF). In doing so, the Commission initiated a potential 240-day review of the application, during which the ETF sponsor, i.e., Grayscale, is expected to register the shares of the proposed product.

On August 15, 2025, the asset manager completed this crucial step with the submission of the Form S-1 registration statement for the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust. According to the content of the document, the proposed ETF is structured as a Delaware Statutory Trust, designed to give investors exposure to Dogecoin through a familiar investment vehicle without requiring them to hold or manage the cryptocurrency directly.

The trust issues shares that represent fractional undivided beneficial interests in its underlying Dogecoin holdings, with the value of each share closely tied to the market price of the asset. As with spot ETFs, the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust is physically backed, meaning that every share issued corresponds to actual Dogecoin.

Meanwhile, Coinbase Custody Trust Company acts as the custodian, responsible for safeguarding the trust’s Dogecoin holdings, while Coinbase Inc. and the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY) act as prime broker and administrator/transfer agent of the trust, respectively. In addition, the Trust only accepts cash orders for share creation or redemption. Only authorized participants can create and redeem shares in exchange for the underlying asset, a mechanism designed to keep the share price aligned with the NAV.

DOGE Surges By 5% After Grayscale News

Following Grayscale’s Form S-1 submission, Dogecoin has recorded a 5% price increase, reaching a price point of $0.2334.This latest rally has strengthened the meme token’s bullish structure, pushing its monthly gains to 8.91%.

According to the price forecast site CoinCodex, general sentiment among DOGE investors remains bullish, with the Fear & Greed sitting around 60.

However, Coincodex analysts predict the current market uptick would be short-lived, with projections of $0.224 in five days, followed by a stronger rebound to $0.266 in one month. Meanwhile, their long-term projections tip the memcoin to trade around $0.268 in three months.

Crypto Giant Grayscale Rolls Out New Trust for Mid-Cap Altcoin That’s up More Than 100% in the Past Month https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-giant-grayscale-rolls-out-new-trust-for-mid-cap-altcoin-thats-up-more-than-100-in-the-past-month/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-giant-grayscale-rolls-out-new-trust-for-mid-cap-altcoin-thats-up-more-than-100-in-the-past-month/#respond Sun, 03 Aug 2025 02:02:28 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/crypto-giant-grayscale-rolls-out-new-trust-for-mid-cap-altcoin-thats-up-more-than-100-in-the-past-month/

The digital asset management giant Grayscale has launched a new trust for a mid-cap altcoin that has doubled its value in the past month.

Grayscale’s new Story Trust provides accredited investors with exposure to Story (IP), a layer-1 blockchain network focused on intellectual property.

Story launched in February and aims to provide a scalable intellectual property solution on a blockchain where rights holders can upload IP, set the terms of use and monetize it throughout the protocol’s application ecosystem. The project also brings real-world data to artificial intelligence (AI) systems, including robots, surgical assistants and autonomous vehicles.

Story’s native asset, IP, is trading at $5.95 at time of writing. The 69th-ranked crypto asset by market cap is down more than 2% in the past 24 hours but up more than 8% in the past seven days and more than 100% in the past month.

Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, Grayscale’s head of product and research, says the asset manager’s new trust reflects Story’s technological potential.

“Grayscale Story Trust gives investors exposure to a protocol shaping the foundational intellectual property layer for the information and AI era. That includes not just creative content, but real-world data  – the force powering one of today’s most advanced intelligent systems.”

The trust is solely invested in the IP token.

SEC Halts Grayscale Large Cap Fund Approval for 'Review' https://earlybirdsinvest.com/sec-halts-grayscale-large-cap-fund-approval-for-review/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/sec-halts-grayscale-large-cap-fund-approval-for-review/#respond Wed, 02 Jul 2025 20:19:38 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/sec-halts-grayscale-large-cap-fund-approval-for-review/

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s leaders are reviewing the agency’s recent approval of a Grayscale effort to convert a fund into an exchange-traded fund (ETF), a letter dated July 1 said.

The SEC allowed Grayscale to uplist the Digital Large Cap Fund (GDLC), which holds $755 million in bitcoin

, Ethereum , XRP , Solana and Cardano , into an ETF through delegated authority — meaning the SEC’s commissioners did not vote to approve the conversion, but rather agency staff gave the sign-off.

“This letter is to notify you that, pursuant to Rule 431 of the Commission’s Rules of Practice, 17 CFR 201.431, the Commission will review the delegated action,” the letter, addressed to the New York Stock Exchange, said. “In accordance with Rule 431(e), the July 1, 2025 order is stayed until the Commission orders otherwise.”

The SEC said it would let the NYSE know “of any pertinent action taken by the Commission.”

Any commissioner can ask that an SEC action be reviewed. In the past, commissioners have asked to review ETF disapprovals, for example. The letter did not indicate which commissioner or commissioners asked for the review.

GDLC is benchmarked to CoinDesk’s CoinDesk 5 Index.

Spokespeople for Grayscale and the NYSE did not immediately return a request for comment.

An SEC spokesperson declined to comment on the letter.

UPDATE (July 2, 2025, 20:05 UTC): Adds additional detail, SEC declining to comment.

Grayscale Unveils Fund for SXT, Native Token of Microsoft-Backed Space and Time Blockchain https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-unveils-fund-for-sxt-native-token-of-microsoft-backed-space-and-time-blockchain/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-unveils-fund-for-sxt-native-token-of-microsoft-backed-space-and-time-blockchain/#respond Tue, 24 Jun 2025 14:42:01 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-unveils-fund-for-sxt-native-token-of-microsoft-backed-space-and-time-blockchain/

Crypto asset manager Grayscale has unveiled an investment trust providing exposure to SXT, the native token of the Space and Time blockchain.

The Grayscale Space and Time Trust is now available to eligible individual and institutional investors, the asset manager announced via email on Tuesday.

Space and Time, which is backed by Microsoft’s venture capital arm M1, is a data warehouse to support decentralized applications that use artificial intelligence (AI) and smart contracts.

The Space and Time Foundations says the network is built to solve the “one critical need,” around which AI and blockchain are converging: verifiable data.

“Verifiable data can help ensure that we can trust the underlying datasets used for AI and smart contract applications,” Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, head of product at Grayscale, said.

The aim of blockchain-based AI is to prevent the data being controlled by a small number of tech behemoths, who would thereby be able to dominate the industry.

Investing in SXT through its new single-asset trust, Grayscale will provide professional traders with a means to gain exposure to this sector of blockchain finance.

Grayscale Files New S-1 Form for Solana ETF With SEC https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-new-s-1-form-for-solana-etf-with-sec/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-new-s-1-form-for-solana-etf-with-sec/#respond Mon, 14 Apr 2025 21:06:48 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-files-new-s-1-form-for-solana-etf-with-sec/ Key Takeaways:

  • Grayscale shifts its approach by converting the Solana trust into an ETF, offering a regulated, liquid entry point for crypto exposure amid evolving market trends.
  • SEC approval is required before the new structure takes effect.
  • Investors gain regulated access without direct asset handling.
  • The effort mirrors similar steps with other crypto trusts.
  • Broader market trends and technical signals add extra context.

[/su_note]

Grayscale Investments filed an updated S-1 registration form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday, seeking to convert its existing Solana Trust into an ETF listed on NYSE Arca.

Grayscale’s Filing and Proposed Solana ETF Conversion

In its submission, Grayscale outlined plans to rename the trust as the Grayscale Solana Trust ETF, pending regulatory approval.

The filing notes that if the registration becomes effective and shares are approved for listing on NYSE Arca, the trust would transition into an ETF structure.

By turning its Solana Trust into an ETF, Grayscale seeks to offer investors a regulated and more liquid way to gain exposure to Solana (SOL) without needing to directly buy or store the asset.

SEC Review Pending for Solana ETF Conversion

As of the filing date, the SEC had not yet approved the required 19b-4 form, which NYSE Arca submitted on December 3, 2024.

This rule, part of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, mandates that exchanges file for approval when listing new products like the proposed Solana ETF.

Grayscale acknowledged in the filing that approval is not guaranteed and the conversion process will not proceed without it.

Grayscale’s effort to bring a Solana ETF to market comes amid increasing institutional interest. The move mirrors Grayscale’s earlier conversion of its Bitcoin Trust into an ETF earlier in 2024, after lengthy regulatory delays.

The potential approval of a Solana ETF could mark a shift in how U.S. investors gain access to Solana.

Solana Price Drops Amid Tariff Shock and Technical Signals

While regulatory efforts continue, Solana’s price has responded to broader macroeconomic headwinds.

The cryptocurrency dropped 8% to $115 following former U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of new tariffs, which triggered sharp movements across financial markets.

Bitcoin and Ethereum also fell by over 4%, dragging down the broader crypto market.

A technical analyst on X warned that if Solana breaks below a key support level on the weekly chart, they plan to sell the remaining SOL holdings from their previous all-time high exit.

Solana is currently under pressure as technical indicators point to a bearish trend, compounded by macroeconomic uncertainty.

Despite this volatility, institutional interest and ongoing developments—such as Fidelity’s ETF filing—underscore continued interest in Solana’s future utility despite recent price swings.

Bitcoin Resilience Suggests Bullish Outlook as Dollar Weakens, Stagflation Looms — Grayscale https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-resilience-suggests-bullish-outlook-as-dollar-weakens-stagflation-looms-grayscale/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-resilience-suggests-bullish-outlook-as-dollar-weakens-stagflation-looms-grayscale/#respond Wed, 09 Apr 2025 03:37:03 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/bitcoin-resilience-suggests-bullish-outlook-as-dollar-weakens-stagflation-looms-grayscale/

Bitcoin investors may not exactly feel it, but BTC has been a relatively good bet since President Trump’s tariff plans last week resulted in historic losses in traditional markets. While stocks and other mainstream investments have been falling off a cliff since the “Liberation Day” announcement April 2, bitcoin has remained relatively steady losing “only” 8% of its value.

“I think this is the most bullish 8% drawdown I’ve ever seen in bitcoin,” said Zach Pandl, head of research at Grayscale, a leading crypto investment manager.

Based on historical data, you would expect bitcoin to have three times the volatility of the Nasdaq, Pandl said. And yet while the Nasdaq was down 15% at the beginning of trading April 8 (compared to April 2), bitcoin was nowhere near 45% down.

In other words, an 8% decline is a positive as historical patterns predicted a far steeper tumble.

“I think crypto investors should be extremely pleased with the modest pullback in bitcoin,” Pandl, a former analyst at Goldman Sachs, told CoinDesk.

“It reflects that tariffs — while they are a short term risk-off event for markets — are probably to be something that’s supportive for bitcoin adoption in the longer run. I think the relatively moderate drawdown reflects that,” he added.

Pandl is bullish on bitcoin in an environment where the dollar is potentially losing its place as a global reserve currency.

“Stagflation is going to be negative for stocks and bonds, and, historically, that has been positive for scarce commodities. Investors who are concerned by stagflation are looking for alternative assets that can drive returns. In traditional markets that might be gold or copper, and bitcoin,” he said.

Pandl says bitcoin’s relatively good performance reflects a rotation away from large-cap tech stocks towards commodity assets like bitcoin. You can see this in the performance of bitcoin against Roundhill “Magnificent 7 ETF.” You can now buy more of that ETF with one bitcoin compared to a week ago.

To those who subscribe to Bitcoin’s long-term investment thesis as a safe haven in uncertain times, the last few days have been a test case where bitcoin is winning. In theory, say these advocates, bitcoin should benefit as investors seek alternatives to dollars in times of stress.

“If you believe that the erosion of the dollar’s position is part of the bitcoin thesis, then your conviction in that thesis in the last week should have gone up,” Pandl says.

He expects bitcoin’s price to rise in the medium-term, reaching new all-time-highs this year.

“The price of bitcoin is down but conviction is up and there’s no need to change the medium term price outlook,” he said.

Grayscale moves closer to Solana ETF with SEC filing https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-moves-closer-to-solana-etf-with-sec-filing/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-moves-closer-to-solana-etf-with-sec-filing/#respond Fri, 04 Apr 2025 18:49:55 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/grayscale-moves-closer-to-solana-etf-with-sec-filing/

Grayscale has taken the next step in its efforts to launch a spot Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF).

On April 4, the digital asset manager filed a Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), aiming to convert its existing Grayscale Solana Trust (GSOL) into a publicly traded ETF.

Crypto traders on the decentralized prediction platform Polymarket are placing the odds of SEC approval for a Solana ETF at 83% before the end of the year.

However, expectations for an earlier decision are lower, with just a 23% chance of approval predicted before July 31.

Solana ETF

Grayscale’s recent submission comes nearly four months after the firm’s initial 19b-4 filing, which the SEC officially acknowledged on Feb. 6.

If approved, the fund would be renamed the Grayscale Solana Trust ETF and listed on the NYSE Arca exchange.

Grayscale also revealed that the product would start with a cash-only creation and redemption system. It added:

“The Trust is not at this time able to create and redeem shares via in-kind transactions with Authorized Participants, and there has yet to be definitive regulatory guidance on whether and how registered broker-dealers can hold and deal in SOL in compliance with the federal securities laws.”

Coinbase will act as the ETF’s custodian, while BNY Mellon will serve as the fund’s administrator and transfer agent.

No staking

Grayscale confirmed that the ETF will not engage in staking or earn yield from Solana’s proof-of-stake network.

According to the filing:

“None of the Trust, the Sponsor, the Custodian, nor any other person associated with the Trust will, directly or indirectly, engage in Staking (as defined herein), meaning no action will be taken pursuant to which any portion of the Trust’s SOL becomes subject to Solana proof-of-stake validation or is used to earn additional SOL or generate income or other earnings.”

The conservative approach reflects ongoing regulatory caution. Under former SEC Chair Gary Gensler, the agency took a hard stance on staking, including lawsuits against several crypto platforms and pushback on staking features in proposed Ethereum ETFs.

However, with a new administration in place, sentiment is shifting. Industry players are renewing efforts to integrate staking into ETF structures for proof-of-stake assets like Ethereum and Solana. Experts argue this could unlock additional yield for investors while complying with federal regulations.
