recent price stability may be linked to an interest in altcoins among corporate investors.

Speaking on CNBC’s Squawk Box on September 11, Novogratz explained that treasury teams within crypto firms have recently shifted attention to other blockchain projects.

He noted that this has likely pulled some market energy away from Bitcoin in the short term.

He pointed to recent activity involving Galaxy Digital, Jump Crypto, and Multicoin Capital as examples of companies directing funds toward newer tokens.

While Bitcoin has not shown much movement lately, Novogratz noted that it could change later in the year. He mentioned that a potential shift in US interest rate policy could drive another wave of demand for Bitcoin.

Additionally, he referenced SEC Chair Paul Atkins’ remarks about updating securities regulations to support on-chain markets.

Novogratz also mentioned that Nasdaq had submitted a request to the SEC to allow tokenized versions of traditional financial assets, such as stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

He explained that Bitcoin initially gained attention as a digital store of value, while stablecoins became useful for cross-border payments. However, Novogratz stated that the lack of reliable blockchains, as well as clear regulations, has slowed further adoption.

He added that while different blockchains will continue to compete, it is unlikely that any single network will dominate the industry. Ethereum

Samsung Galaxy ‘3D capture’ shows up for an XR headset we don’t have yet https://earlybirdsinvest.com/samsung-galaxy-3d-capture-shows-up-for-an-xr-headset-we-dont-have-yet/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/samsung-galaxy-3d-capture-shows-up-for-an-xr-headset-we-dont-have-yet/#respond Sat, 13 Sep 2025 04:03:26 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/samsung-galaxy-3d-capture-shows-up-for-an-xr-headset-we-dont-have-yet/

What you need to know

  • Samsung was spotted rolling out an update for its Camera Assistant app on Galaxy that surprisingly mentions “3D capture” and its “Galaxy XR headset.”
  • The feature says users can “create spatial photos and videos for Galaxy XR headsets,” though it’s not working properly just yet.
  • A report from August claimed Samsung is preparing to debut its Project Moohan headset on September 29.

Samsung’s premium XR headset looks a little more real after a recent update to a Galaxy app adds surprising support.

A post by SamMobile highlights an update for Samsung’s Camera Assistant app on its Galaxy phones, which directly mentions “Galaxy XR headsets.” When activated, the publication discovered a floating banner on the phone’s viewfinder that says “3D capture.” Additionally, at the top, the app informs the user that there needs to be more light before it can take a “3D photo.”

In Camera Assistant’s settings, the 3D capture feature’s description reads, “Add a 3D capture option to the top of the preview so you can create spatial photos and videos for Galaxy XR headsets.”

While this seems exciting, the publication had to go through some hoops before it could even see the feature in this capacity. Reportedly, the update for Camera Assistant, v4.0.0.3, has only rolled out for the recent Galaxy S25 FE; however, it could only be activated after transferring the updated app to a Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The safest (and current) speculation is that Samsung is still finalizing this software in preparation for its XR headset.

The hype has been building for Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset, which we’ve known as Project Moohan for a while now. A report from the end of August out of South Korea claimed Samsung could announce Project Moohan on September 29. Speculation says the company could follow this up with a market launch in mid-October in South Korea before other markets.

Those same rumors add that Project Moohan could cost somewhere between “2.5 and 4 million won,” which roughly equates to $1,800–$2,800. Comparisons to Apple’s Vision Pro continue to be made, and it seems Samsung’s headset could see under the competition’s $3,500 price tag.

Google had Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset at its I/O event earlier this year, where Android Central had a chance to demo the product. The headset earned top marks for visuals and “natural” navigation across its apps. If Samsung is preparing to launch, we’re only a few weeks away from seeing it.

Ethereum continues to show remarkable resilience, with demand leaving its mark even as price action remains sideways. ETH has been consolidating in a narrow range, mirroring the broader market where Bitcoin trades cautiously and altcoins display selective strength. Yet behind the scenes, institutional interest in Ethereum is quietly building, setting the stage for what could be the next major move.

According to fresh data from Lookonchain, SharpLink recently transferred $379 million USDC to Galaxy Digital, capital that may be allocated toward purchasing more ETH. This transfer underscores a growing trend: institutional players are not shying away from Ethereum, even amid volatility and macroeconomic uncertainty. Instead, they are positioning themselves for what could be a decisive breakout once the current consolidation phase resolves.

SharpLink Gaming is among the first Nasdaq-listed companies to design a treasury strategy centered on ETH, marking a significant milestone in corporate adoption. By treating Ethereum as a strategic reserve asset, it reinforces the idea that ETH’s role extends well beyond speculative trading into long-term institutional portfolios.

With consolidation tightening and institutional inflows accelerating, the coming weeks may prove critical. Many investors expect a massive surge for Ethereum once the current sideways structure breaks, potentially marking the start of its next major rally.

SharpLink Expands Ethereum Treasury

SharpLink has officially announced that its total Ethereum holdings climbed to 837,200 ETH as of August 31, 2025, solidifying its role as one of the largest corporate holders of the asset. The company continues to pursue its ETH-focused treasury strategy aggressively, with notable activity reported in the week ending August 31.

During that week, SharpLink purchased an additional 39,008 ETH, bringing its cumulative balance to new heights. These acquisitions were financed through $46.6 million in net proceeds raised via the company’s at-the-market (ATM) facility, demonstrating its ongoing ability to secure fresh capital for strategic allocations. Importantly, the average purchase price for the week’s ETH acquisitions stood at $4,531, reflecting the company’s confidence in buying at elevated levels as Ethereum consolidates near all-time highs.

This accumulation has elevated SharpLink to the position of the second-largest ETH treasury holding company, trailing only BitMine. BitMine currently holds more than 2 million ETH, valued at approximately $9.2 billion. Together, these treasury allocations highlight how major institutions are increasingly adopting Ethereum not only as a speculative asset but also as a long-term strategic reserve.

By expanding its ETH holdings so aggressively, SharpLink is sending a clear signal to the market: Ethereum’s role in corporate treasuries is no longer theoretical. As adoption grows, such moves could prove pivotal in reinforcing ETH’s status as a core asset in the global digital economy.

ETH Analysis: Trading Sideways

Ethereum is trading at $4,436, showing a 2% daily gain as the price begins to emerge from a prolonged consolidation phase. The 12-hour chart highlights that ETH has been moving sideways for much of September, holding firmly above $4,200 support. Now, momentum appears to be picking up as the price tests resistance around $4,450.

The 50 SMA at $4,407 is now acting as immediate support, while the 100 SMA at $4,182 provides a stronger cushion below. The 200 SMA, sitting at $3,460, remains well beneath the current range, confirming that ETH’s broader bullish structure is intact. As long as Ethereum maintains levels above $4,200, the technical setup favors continuation to the upside.

For bulls, the next critical test lies in reclaiming $4,600, a level that has repeatedly capped rallies in recent weeks. A decisive breakout above this resistance would set the stage for ETH to retest the $4,800–$5,000 zone, potentially marking the start of a stronger bullish leg.

Google IO 2025 Project Moohan headset in person's hands

Lanh Nguyen / Android Authority

TL;DR

  • A new update to Samsung’s Camera Assistant Good Lock module adds a new “3D Capture” setting.
  • The description confirms the “Galaxy XR” branding for Samsung’s XR headset.
  • It also confirms that Samsung phones will be able to shoot 3D/spatial images and videos for viewing on the Galaxy XR headset.

Samsung teamed up with Google for its Project Moohan headset on the brand-new Android XR platform. Samsung is said to be gearing up to launch the headset very soon, either by the end of this month or the next, depending on which leak you believe. Samsung has now accidentally disclosed that the Project Moohan headset will be called “Galaxy XR,” and that users will be shoot spatial images and videos on their phones to view it on the headset, just like they can on newer iPhones and the Apple Vision Pro.

Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

Sammobile reports that a new version of the Camera Assistant app (v4.0.0.3) is available on the Galaxy S25 FE but not yet on other Galaxy devices. This new version of the Good Luck module doesn’t open any exclusive functionality on the Galaxy S25 FE. However, when the app is installed on a Galaxy S25 Ultra, users can spot a new “3D capture” feature in the app’s settings.

Samsung Camera Assistant App 3D Capture

As the description states, the new 3D capture setting adds a button to the top of the camera preview, so users can shoot Galaxy XR-compatible spatial photos and videos. This not only confirms that the Project Moohan headset will be called “Galaxy XR” as widely rumored, but users will be able to shoot their own 3D/spatial content on their phones to view it on the headset. Since it refers to “headsets” in the plural, there can be other XR devices within the family branding.

Samsung Camera Assistant 3D Photo

Leaker Ice Universe shot a video using the new feature. As the leaker notes, the video is shot in 4K 30fps, and shows up with a “Shot in 3D” label in the Gallery app.

Samsung Camera Assistant 3D video capture for Galaxy XR

This feature doesn’t come as a surprise, as user-generated content forms an essential consumption bucket for XR headsets. Apple offers the same on the Apple Vision Pro, and it’s the reason why the iPhone 16 switched away from a diagonal rear camera arrangement to a vertical one — you need two side-by-side lenses to capture depth data for spatial/3D content.

It remains to be seen which Samsung phones can shoot spatial content. It’s fair to expect that the company’s latest flagships, like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy S25 series will be able to shoot 3D content. Most of Samsung’s phones come with a vertical rear camera arrangement, so the rest depends on whether they have powerful enough hardware to shoot 3D content. We hope to learn more soon.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung’s best for 2025

Simply put, this is Samsung’s very best phone for 2025. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a 6.9-inch QHD+ device with 12GB of RAM, 256GB+ of storage, embedded S Pen, and the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The key upgrade over the lower S25 models is a 200MP main camera and 100x Space Zoom.

Many would say the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is still the top dog in the smartphone market. This includes us, as we have it listed as the best premium option in our list of the best Android phones. It’s a true flagship that will be very hard to beat, as exciting as newer phones are getting. And if you can get it at $999.99, you’re certainly in for a treat.

The performance will be impressive, as it comes with an industry-leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. This is enough to handle pretty much any app, game, or task you throw at it.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, showing its home screen.

Joe Maring / Android Authority

The display is also among the best, featuring a large 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel. This technology is known for deep blacks and vibrant colors. It also has a sharp 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. One of its main highlights is likely the S Pen, which adds a very intuitive way to interact with it, especially if you like drawing or hand-writing notes.

Shall we continue praising it? Well, it also comes with a high-quality camera system that will take great shots, and it is one of the most versatile ones around. We loved it for shooting portraits, landscapes, and faraway subjects. Its variety of lenses makes it a fitting shooter for any situation.

Even the battery life is outstanding. Despite having power-hungry specs and a large screen, we managed to get about two full days of battery life during our testing.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra rear hero

Ryan Haines / Android Authority

Of course, the design is worthy of a Samsung flagship. It has a solid titanium frame sandwiched by Gorilla Glass 2. It obviously gets an IP68 rating, which keeps your device safe against liquids and solids. All things considered, you’re future-proofing yourself with a phone you could use for years to come, especially considering it comes with a seven-year update promise.

Honestly, our only main complaint about this phone is the significant $1,299.99 retail price, but that gets much better with today’s discount. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra rarely goes under $1,000 bucks, so you might want to jump on this deal sooner rather than later.

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority

TL;DR

  • Samsung has finally ended software support for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
  • The August 2025 patch was their final update, leaving them on One UI 5.1.
  • Fans say they’ll keep using the phones, but the Note line is now officially over.

The Galaxy Note series was iconic in its day, but time waits for no device, and now the last models have finally been cut off. Samsung has stopped supporting the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, with the August 2025 security patch confirmed as their final update.

As spotted on the r/GalaxyNote20 subreddit, the two phones have disappeared from Samsung’s official update list. That means they’ll remain on Android 13 with One UI 5.1, and owners won’t see any more monthly or quarterly patches.

Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

The end has long been in sight for Samsung’s 2020 flagships. The Note 20 series launched with Android 10 and got three OS upgrades before shifting to security patches only. Samsung briefly reinstated them to monthly updates last April after first demoting them to quarterly support, but that was only ever a temporary reprieve.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority

On Reddit, longtime Note users called out features they still miss on newer devices, such as microSD expansion. Others say their Note 20 Ultra is still running well aside from an aging camera or battery, with some planning to keep using it as a main phone or hand it down as a secondary device.

The entire Note brand was retired after the Note 20, with the Galaxy S Ultra taking over as Samsung’s S Pen powerhouse. Many of the Galaxy Z Fold models also supported the stylus, though without a built-in slot. But the Note series is officially done, and it’ll be missed.

SOL price prediction scenarios have intensified as Solana broke through $209 resistance levels while Galaxy Digital made blockchain history by launching SEC-registered GLXY tokens directly on the Solana network.

This marks the first time a publicly listed U.S. equity has been issued natively on a major public blockchain.

Technical analysis reveals SOL maintaining its position above key ascending support around $190-200, with multiple projections targeting $225-291 in the coming months.

Galaxy Digital Develops Blockchain Equity Integration

Galaxy Digital launched tokenized GLXY shares, allowing holders of SEC-registered Class A common stock to convert shares into native tokens on Solana.

Each on-chain GLXY represents an actual share with identical legal and economic rights as traditionally held stock, not wrapped derivatives.

The tokenization process requires KYC verification through Superstate, Galaxy’s digital transfer agent.

Only allowlisted addresses can hold or receive tokens, which is implemented to preserve shareholder records and meet AML obligations while allowing corporate actions.

Galaxy selected Solana for its speed, throughput, and growing role as a high-volume spot trading Layer-1 blockchain.

The firm emphasized primary issuance on L1 networks to preserve unilateral exits and minimize centralized control points, though Ethereum support is planned for future phases.

Trading restrictions currently limit tokenized GLXY to bilateral transfers between KYC-approved addresses.

AMM and DEX trading remains unavailable pending regulatory clarity, though Galaxy argues automated market makers should function as autonomous escrow mechanisms rather than regulated exchanges.

Ascending Support Structure Maintains Bullish Framework

As the market is gearing up, SOL’s 4-hour chart maintains its position above the key ascending trendline support that has provided a foundation throughout the rally from $120 to the current $209 levels.

SOL Price Prediction: Solana Breaks $209 as Galaxy Digital Launches SEC-Registered GLXY Tokens – Is SOL Ready for New Highs?

The blue ascending support line confluences with the 200-period EMA around $190, which creates a strong technical foundation for continued momentum.

Similarly, the RSI reading of 14 suggests SOL approaches oversold conditions on this timeframe, potentially supporting bounce scenarios if ascending support holds.

The MACD indicator shows values around 12.26, maintaining positive momentum despite recent consolidation.

Stochastic readings of 14.1 also indicate potential for short-term upside if SOL sustains above ascending support levels.

However, momentum indicators are already at elevated levels, suggesting limited room for expansion before potential divergences develop.

This technical setup requires careful monitoring of support integrity around $190-200 zones.

Channel Projections Target $291 Following Support Retest

Daily chart analysis reveals SOL’s movement within a well-defined ascending channel structure, with September projections indicating an initial support test, followed by a resumption toward channel resistance.

SOL is currently around $208, and occupies middle channel territory with projected decline toward $190-200 support before rallying toward $240 upper boundary.

Multi-target analysis reveals SOL positioned within converging trendlines, with horizontal resistance levels marked at $174.36, $211.99, $ 224.10, and $291.04.

SOL Price Prediction: Solana Breaks $209 as Galaxy Digital Launches SEC-Registered GLXY Tokens – Is SOL Ready for New Highs?

The current projection suggests a specific sequence involving a decline toward the $170 support level, followed by recovery, ultimately targeting $291, representing an approximately 40% gain from current levels.

Moreover, a weekly comparison to autumn 2023 price action, around $24, suggests a similar consolidation pattern may be developing at higher absolute levels.

As it stands now, SOL may be building energy for another major leg higher, potentially targeting the $400-500 range based on measured moves from the current consolidation.

The immediate focus centers on SOL’s ability to maintain above the ascending support while building momentum for an assault on the $225-240 resistance zone.

A successful break above these levels would validate more optimistic projections toward $291 and beyond.

Is Snorter the Next 100x Telegram Bot Everyone’s Using?

While SOL prepares for a potential breakout toward new highs, this new trading bot is already showing strong presale performance.

Smart traders know that finding the right utility token early can lead to massive returns during bull markets.

Snorter is getting attention because it makes Solana trading faster and safer. The bot works inside Telegram and can buy tokens in under one second using private RPC connections.

The presale has raised over $3.6 million so far. Early buyers can earn around 127% staking rewards for holding their coins.

Above all that, here’s what matters: the best trading tools get adopted quickly once they prove they work.

Snorter launches fully in Q3 2025 with features like copy trading and rug pull protection. This means you should buy soon if you want presale prices.

You can buy SNORT tokens on their website using SOL, ETH, USDT, or credit cards.

The market for tokenized equities could expand to nearly $190 trillion within the next 20 years, according to new projections from Galaxy Research.

Galaxy made this projection after it became one of the first public companies to tokenize its stock on the Solana blockchain via Superstate, which specializes in compliant tokenization infrastructure.

Speaking on the move, Alex Thorn, Galaxy’s Head of Research, said:

“Onchain GLXY is real Galaxy Class A Common Stock. If you hold the token, you own common equity in galaxy, the same as if you bought our stock through in your traditional brokerage account. no publicly traded company has ever done this before in the US.”

As of press time, 32,374 Galaxy Class A shares had been issued on Solana, held by 21 token holders, according to Dune Analytics data.

According to the firm, this move illustrates its conviction that tokenization is viable and a potential blueprint for how listed companies may enhance market accessibility.

‘Uniswap moment’

Considering this, the firm modeled bear, base, and bull scenarios to illustrate how blockchain adoption may reshape financial markets once decentralized trading achieves critical mass.

Galaxy describes the tipping point as a “Uniswap moment,” when on-chain trading is widely regarded as fairer, faster, cheaper, and safer than legacy structures. At that stage, traditional centralized exchanges would gradually lose market share to blockchain-based platforms.

In its near-term outlook, Galaxy expects tokenized equities to represent between 0.7% and 4.6% of US market capitalization within the first two years of adoption—equivalent to $0.5 trillion to $3.3 trillion.

Under a bullish 10-year scenario, tokenized shares could capture 40% of the market, worth almost $50 trillion.

Tokenized Onchain Securities 20-Year Projection
Tokenized Onchain Securities 20-Year Projection (Source: Galaxy)

Meanwhile, the forecasts diverge further over two decades. A bear case sees tokenization reaching 12% of the US equity market, or $29.5 trillion, while the bull case envisions as much as 78% penetration or an estimated $189.9 trillion.

Interestingly, the firm said trading activities could follow a similar trajectory.

In the most optimistic scenario, Galaxy projects that tokenized equities may account for 93% of all US equity trading volume, fundamentally altering liquidity, settlement times, and investor access.

It also brings a fresh layer of personalization, giving you more control over your themes, lock screen, and widgets. Underneath it all, refined animations and transitions make every interaction feel noticeably smoother.

You can join the beta through the Samsung Members app to preview the Android 16-based update early. As the screenshot shows, it’s a sizable download at over 3GB.

Once you’re enrolled in the beta, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. When it’s done downloading, tap “Install now” to start the update.

The One UI 8 beta is already live for the Galaxy S25 and S24 series, plus the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Samsung previously confirmed the stable release would drop in September, starting with the S25 lineup, and will reach more Galaxy devices worldwide in October with Android 16 features and fresh One UI tweaks.

There’s no timeline yet for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 owners outside Korea, but this launch suggests a broader rollout is just around the corner, likely only a few days away.

This Galaxy Watch clearance deal could be your LAST CHANCE at this classic model — score $287 off! https://earlybirdsinvest.com/this-galaxy-watch-clearance-deal-could-be-your-last-chance-at-this-classic-model-score-287-off/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/this-galaxy-watch-clearance-deal-could-be-your-last-chance-at-this-classic-model-score-287-off/#respond Sat, 30 Aug 2025 18:03:55 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/this-galaxy-watch-clearance-deal-could-be-your-last-chance-at-this-classic-model-score-287-off/

We’ve been keeping an eye out for Labor Day smartwatch deals, but they’ve been slim pickings this weekend. Only one deal we’ve spotted is truly intriguing: The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm LTE is $192.99 ($287 off) on Best Buy, as the site puts all of its Classic models on clearance.

We don’t know how many Watch 6 Classics are left, but this may be your last chance at a new model, rather than a refurbished one. We also spotted the same 60% off deal at Amazon, though most other sizes come from third-party resellers.

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a respectable smartwatch with fast performance and the rotating bezel that long-time Samsung fans love. But its hard-edged, bulkier design has polarized these same fans, who felt that the old Galaxy Watch 6 Classic design lives up to that old-timey aesthetic much better.

So rather than spend $499 on the new model (or $549 with cellular), you can spend less than half that on the Watch 6 Classic LTE, which is still due to receive three more major version updates through the end of 2027.

✅Recommended if: You have a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic or Watch 5 and want a more traditional design than the newer 8 Classic; you care more about style than getting the newest features; or you hate other Galaxy Watches’ touch bezel controls.

❌Skip this deal if: You care more about a lighter design than a rotating bezel, and would prefer the Galaxy Watch 7 for $199 to get slightly newer hardware and sensors.

You can look elsewhere for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, but it’s either refurbished or sold from third-party Amazon sellers that may or may not have truly “new” models. That’s why this is your last chance to grab a Classic with some semblance of quality assurance before it’s off the market for good.

You can see in the photo above how the Watch 8 Classic and 6 Classic compare; the older model has a more subtle look, but it’s about the same weight and thickness. It has a slightly older Exynos processor, but the same amount of RAM for similar performance, making it capable of running Gemini commands swiftly.

While this model doesn’t have the new health sensors for niche data like your antioxidant index or vascular load, you’re still getting the core Galaxy Watch experience.

Also keep in mind that Samsung always offers enhanced trade-in credit for its old watches. So if the Galaxy Watch 9 series looks more tempting a year from now, this Watch 6 Classic deal will end up being a down payment when you trade it in for something better!
