SPX6900 has been holding its ground in the past 24 hours as the bitcoin rally takes a breather, indicating that rotation into meme coin prospects like TOKEN6900 (T6900) is set to continue.

There are only two days to go before T6900 lists on exchanges, and an increasing number of traders and influencers are seeing it as a possible next SPX6900.

So far, $3.22 million has been contributed to the presale before claim and launch on Wednesday, September 3, at 2pm UTC, as traders predict 10x gains at listing. Interested crypto watchers should note that the pace of fundraising is accelerating as the FOMO rises, so there’s no time to lose.

Like SPX6900, TOKEN6900 takes a satirical swipe at TradFi, the financial policymakers, and associated banksters. While they pretend to be the pillars of the financial world, T6900 is the token that shouts loudly that all that’s solid melts into air, so why not celebrate the asset-lite vacuousness of index meme coins?

T6900 trades on nothing except its ability to capture and harness a feeling, a narrative, a vibe. T6900 is the ultimate vibe liquidity token.

Oscar Ramos, who has 163k subscribers on YouTube, presents a cogent case for why T6900 will be the next billion-dollar meme coin like SPX6900:

TradFi has no plan but T6900 does – it’s the next SPX6900

The attractiveness of TOKEN6900 for degens lies in the irreverent, viral-powered punch in the face it gives to legacy finance and all its ills. As Mike Tyson famously said: “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.” That’s right – TradFi has no plan.

As the traditional markets wait with growing anticipation for the Fed to lower rates and unleash more liquidity into the system, T6900 followers couldn’t really care less.

For sure, lower rates help risk assets like crypto but there are also dangers for legacy finance that meme coins don’t need to worry about. The Fed’s Jerome Powell is walking a tightrope between igniting inflation or triggering a recession. His dual mandate is to keep prices low and employment high, but right now that’s a tough call.

There are signs that inflation is strengthening, but not so much that it would lead to a delay in the expected rate cuts, probably of 25 basis points.

Yet economists keep insisting that the tariff will increase prices, although that seems yet to filter through as companies absorb some of those costs themselves instead of passing the cost on to consumers. However, that approach cannot continue indefinitely without hurting profits.

This week, unemployment claims, non-farm payrolls, and unit labor costs data are all on tap, so market participants should expect volatile prices across markets, including crypto.

Yet for T6900, the near-term noise and the bigger long-term macro outlook are positives, regardless of how things pan out. If crypto markets turn higher on the back of this week’s data, those buying T6900 token before it comes to market will sit pretty, as sentiment around listing day will favor bulls.

Paradoxically, bad news on employment and payroll would indicate that the economy is losing some momentum, which would make it more likely that the Fed cuts not just once but perhaps twice before the year is out. Again, that would be a filip for crypto and T6900.

Then we zoom out and consider the emerging macro background, and there are a number of factors that savvy crypto investors should be cognizant of.

Does T6900 vibe liquidity have more integrity than the Fed?

The tailwinds of regulatory loosening in the US, a demand explosion driven by the rising number of digital asset treasury companies, and the likelihood of US interest rate cuts, are all music to the ears of crypto traders.

But so too is the recent dip in prices because it opens up entry points for those with money parked on the sidelines. And there are factors that the market is perhaps overlooking, chief among them the creeping encroachment on the independence of the Fed.

The damage this is doing to US credibility at the governance and market integrity levels could be seismic, playing to the strengths of T6900 (and SPX6900) as the fortune tellers of emerging calamities and the repositories of new forms of ‘vibe liquidity’ wealth.

The threat to American economic ascendancy informs the policy direction of the Trump White House, but in practice, it could be aiding its adversaries, as is being demonstrated today at the gathering of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, at which 40% of the world’s population is represented.

What were fashioned as weapons to advance US interests, such as tariffs and dollar-denominated stablecoins, could turn out to be the opposite.

Trade wars have alienated the so-called BRICS countries, which include giants such as China, India, and Russia. Remember, in purchasing power parity terms, Russia is the world’s fourth-largest economy, according to the CIA World Factbook.

Russia is turning to crypto in a big way. Cheekily positioned meme coins like T6900 could be one of the major beneficiaries.

If you’re looking for a hedge against legacy finance brain rot, T6900 is your friend

Meanwhile, stablecoins seem like a win-win for the US. On the one hand, dollar-denominated stablecoins are currently dominant, and they are invariably backed by near-cash instruments like short-dated US Treasuries.

However, there is nothing to stop other countries issuing their own stablecoins, pegged to their domestic currencies. A yuan-denominated stablecoin could be attractive to economic actors around the world who have grown tired of the US throwing its weight around.

Again, T6900 provides a ready vehicle for anyone who wants to hedge their bets on the continued global supremacy of the US dollar as the reserve currency of choice.

But it is also a hedge against the brain-rot finance represented by the world’s central bankers, incumbent financial institutions and profligate governments.

From the US to China, there is a massive buildup of debt that will need to be rolled over at some point, and that means more monetary debasement.

Against that backdrop, the frivolous, humor-based networks of token holders that develop into powerful community-infused commitments to a financial revolution to serve the many, not the few, become more attractive by the day. It could be that meme coins like T6900 are a more solid offering than the fiat money valuation based on not much more than thin air.

Ethereum’s Pectra update meets expectations, edges closer to Fusaka https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereums-pectra-update-meets-expectations-edges-closer-to-fusaka/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereums-pectra-update-meets-expectations-edges-closer-to-fusaka/#respond Sun, 01 Jun 2025 00:42:56 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ethereums-pectra-update-meets-expectations-edges-closer-to-fusaka/

Ethereum Pectra hard fork’s blob capacity enhancement is operating within the thresholds analysts forecast, ethPandaOps said in a May 30 report

The update, which was initiated via the Ethereum Improvement Proposal 7691 (EIP-7691) on May 7, doubled the default blob count from three to six and lifted the ceiling from six to nine. Blobs are data pieces included in Ethereum blocks.

The report instrumented 123 Beacon-chain nodes across 27 countries, 29 in controlled data centers, and 94 in residential settings to track the “New Head” event. This is a timestamp recorded when a client declares a block and its blobs the new chain tip.

The benchmark requires 66% of peers to reach New Head within four seconds, or the block risks being orphaned.

Working as expected for home users

Charts covering 50,025 slots through May 28 show home-user nodes accepted locally built solo-staker blocks in under four seconds 99.5% of the time, with only a handful of outliers.

Regression across block size and arrival time projects that home nodes could tolerate up to 14 blobs before brushing the deadline, well above the nine-blob cap.

The report concluded that “home users were able to support nine blobs,” validating pre-fork modeling that assumed bandwidth sensitivity at the network edge.

The report then stress-tested the model against a 60 million-gas worst-case block size, reflecting the upper bound under Pectra.

The same regression trimmed safe capacity to 10 blobs, leaving a narrow margin but still clearing the live 6/9 envelope.

The report noted that a higher gas cap would further tighten the window, reinforcing community calls to halt future gas limit increases until peer-to-peer data availability sampling (PeerDAS) ships in the subsequent Fusaka release.

Manageable relay timing

About 91% of main-chain blocks route through MEV-Boost relays, which insert a bid-acceptance round-trip between proposers and builders.

Relay-sourced blocks reached New Head marginally slower, with home nodes registering 97.1% inside four seconds versus 99.5% for locally built blocks.

A distribution plot attributes the tail to relays that delay header broadcasts as part of competitive timing strategies. Worst-case 60 million-gas simulations indicated a safe relay capacity of five blobs, but ethPandaOps expects relays to adjust once the competitive landscape penalizes late delivery.

Additionally, developers plan to shift from proposer-side blob propagation to PeerDAS under the Fusaka hard fork.

EthPandaOps stated that the team is “heads-down” in integrating PeerDAS, which should reduce per-block bandwidth and open up room for higher gas limits and larger blob counts once deployed.

The report concluded that the telemetry from the first week of Pectra shows the 6/9 blob schedule functions as designed, giving client teams room to focus on Fusaka’s data-availability upgrades without immediate pressure to revisit bandwidth ceilings.

Apple may follow the Galaxy S25 Edge’s lead with iPhone 17 Air battery https://earlybirdsinvest.com/apple-may-follow-the-galaxy-s25-edges-lead-with-iphone-17-air-battery/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/apple-may-follow-the-galaxy-s25-edges-lead-with-iphone-17-air-battery/#respond Mon, 17 Mar 2025 22:33:55 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/apple-may-follow-the-galaxy-s25-edges-lead-with-iphone-17-air-battery/
iPhone 16e home screen for apps and widgets

Ryan Haines / Android Authority

TL;DR

  • The iPhone 17 Air is said to include both low-end and Pro-level features.
  • Despite being thinner, it could have a battery life on par with current iPhones.
  • If the iPhone 17 Air is a success, we could see some of its features spread to other models in the future.

Apple is expected to shake up its iPhone 17 lineup by ditching the “Plus” model and replacing it with an ultra-thin phone, reportedly called the iPhone 17 Air. There’s still a lot of mystery behind this new form factor, but more details have emerged. A new leak says that the device will incorporate both low-end and Pro-level features and could usher in a sea of change for Apple’s other models.

In his latest Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg shared a bevy of new information about the iPhone 17 Air. From the front, the device is said to be a lot like the iPhone 16 Pro. It seems we can expect a 6.6-inch display, ProMotion, a Camera control button, and a standard-sized Dynamic Island.

Surprisingly, Gurman also states that the battery life could be on par with current iPhones. This would be an impressive feat, considering the phone is expected to shave about two millimeters off the phone’s depth. However, leaks suggest Samsung’s competing thin phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, won’t be sacrificing much either compared to the vanilla Galaxy S25.

While the iPhone 17 Air may include some Pro-level features, Apple is making compromises in other places. One such area would be the rear camera, which is believed to include a 48MP shooter like the one on the iPhone 16e. On top of that, it looks like the phone will feature only an A19 chip and not the A19 Pro SoC found in the Pro models.

It was reported last year that Apple was having trouble figuring out how to fit a physical SIM card tray into the Air. This problem could be solved by an eSIM, however, that creates another issue with regulators in China. It looks like Apple is going ahead with that plan anyway as Gurman says the Air won’t have a physical SIM card slot.

In addition to Pro-level and low-end features, the Air is said to have some components that should make it into future devices. For example, the Cupertino firm is giving the Air its in-house modem chip that debuted on the iPhone 16e earlier this year. Dubbed C1, this chip is more power efficient than Qualcomm’s offerings, but the drawback is it lacks support for mmWave technology.

Apple reportedly wanted to be more ambitious by giving the Air a 6.9-inch screen and removing the ports. However, the company backed away from the larger screen idea to avoid creating a device susceptible to bending. Meanwhile, Apple was concerned that going port-free would upset European Union regulators after they mandated Apple switch to USB-C.

Gurman says that if the iPhone 17 Air is successful, Apple plans to move more models to this slimmer design. Apple may also consider going port-less again. As for price, it looks like the iPhone 17 Air may cost about the same price as the iPhone 16 Plus at $900.

Ripple (XRP) ETF Edges Closer to Reality with New Milestone https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ripple-xrp-etf-edges-closer-to-reality-with-new-milestone/ https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ripple-xrp-etf-edges-closer-to-reality-with-new-milestone/#respond Tue, 18 Feb 2025 20:16:36 +0000 https://earlybirdsinvest.com/ripple-xrp-etf-edges-closer-to-reality-with-new-milestone/

The race to launch another crypto-based exchange-traded fund in the US continues in full force and XRP has reached another milestone as Bitwise’s filing has been officially acknowledged by the SEC.

The 19b-4 filing, published in the Federal Register, means that the agency’s approval process has begun, while the interested parties have 21 days to send their comments.

Following that deadline, the US regulator has the right to “approve, disapprove, or institute proceedings.” Recall that the SEC previously acknowledged XRP ETF filings from Grayscale and 21Shares, while those from Canary Capital and WisdomTree are still pending.

Unlike the acknowledgment of 21Shares’ XRP ETF application, which caused an immediate uproar for the underlying asset, this time, the cryptocurrency failed to produce any substantial gains in the first hours after the news broke.

XRP, alongside most of the market, is deep in the red today, dropping by over 5% on a 24-hour scale to under $2.5.

Despite these acknowledgments from the US SEC, the agency is still engaged in a legal battle against Ripple. Experts believe the lawsuit needs to be concluded first before a potential approval of an XRP ETF.

Additionally, Bloomberg’s ETF experts, James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas, recently asserted that XRP is not the leader in terms of which crypto asset is next in line after BTC and ETH to have its own exchange-traded fund. The duo placed Litecoin as well as Dogecoin ahead of it.

Nevertheless, Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, remains an optimist as he has asserted multiple times that an XRP ETF is ‘inevitable.’
