We’ve been keeping an eye out for Labor Day smartwatch deals, but they’ve been slim pickings this weekend. Only one deal we’ve spotted is truly intriguing: The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm LTE is $192.99 ($287 off) on Best Buy, as the site puts all of its Classic models on clearance.

We don’t know how many Watch 6 Classics are left, but this may be your last chance at a new model, rather than a refurbished one. We also spotted the same 60% off deal at Amazon, though most other sizes come from third-party resellers.

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a respectable smartwatch with fast performance and the rotating bezel that long-time Samsung fans love. But its hard-edged, bulkier design has polarized these same fans, who felt that the old Galaxy Watch 6 Classic design lives up to that old-timey aesthetic much better.

So rather than spend $499 on the new model (or $549 with cellular), you can spend less than half that on the Watch 6 Classic LTE, which is still due to receive three more major version updates through the end of 2027.

Recommended if: You have a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic or Watch 5 and want a more traditional design than the newer 8 Classic; you care more about style than getting the newest features; or you hate other Galaxy Watches’ touch bezel controls.

Skip this deal if: You care more about a lighter design than a rotating bezel, and would prefer the Galaxy Watch 7 for $199 to get slightly newer hardware and sensors.

You can look elsewhere for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, but it’s either refurbished or sold from third-party Amazon sellers that may or may not have truly “new” models. That’s why this is your last chance to grab a Classic with some semblance of quality assurance before it’s off the market for good.

You can see in the photo above how the Watch 8 Classic and 6 Classic compare; the older model has a more subtle look, but it’s about the same weight and thickness. It has a slightly older Exynos processor, but the same amount of RAM for similar performance, making it capable of running Gemini commands swiftly.

While this model doesn’t have the new health sensors for niche data like your antioxidant index or vascular load, you’re still getting the core Galaxy Watch experience.

Also keep in mind that Samsung always offers enhanced trade-in credit for its old watches. So if the Galaxy Watch 9 series looks more tempting a year from now, this Watch 6 Classic deal will end up being a down payment when you trade it in for something better!

First, let’s look at, well, looks. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 is the largest Samsung Galaxy smartwatch, thicker than the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. But it also happens to be a smidge lighter. Both have three buttons, including a Quick Button for accessing frequently used options.

The biggest difference is that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has a digital-only bezel, whereas the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic adds a rotating bezel. Considering Andrew Myrick notes in his initial Galaxy Watch 8 hands-on that the rotating bezel is his favorite way of interacting with a smartwatch, this will be a big deal for a lot of people like him.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 comes in four titanium finishes: Silver, Gray, White, and a new one: Blue. It has a large 1.5-inch AMOLED screen housed in a squircle design that affords up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The screen is made from sapphire crystal, and the watch itself is as rugged as they come, meeting an IP68 and an impressive 10ATM rating as well as MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.

In terms of battery life, it has a 590mAh battery, the same as the previous generation model, which means it should last about four days in power savings mode, about two with frequent workout tracking, and more.

By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic comes in basic Black or White, though you can spruce it up with various band types (sport, fabric, or hybrid as well as third-party options). It employs a thin and cushioned design that has been brought over from the original Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.

This squircle design change is immediately noticeable, and Myrick notes that it’s one that grew on him after he became accustomed to it with last year’s Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra after wearing that model for a while. As noted, along with the Dynamic Lug System, the big differentiator is the inclusion of a handy rotating bezel on this watch.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a smaller 1.34-inch Super AMOLED sapphire crystal display with the same 3,000 nits peak brightness. It boasts both IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification, but it isn’t quite as water-resistant for deep diving with “only” a 5ATM rating.

The battery is also smaller at 445mAh, and while Samsung doesn’t note its rated battery life, you can expect to charge it at least every day or two if it falls in line with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, which has a slightly smaller battery.

There’s an LTE option with both watches as well as Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC for tap payments. While the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 is more expensive, there are trade-in deals with older model Samsung Galaxy Watches (not the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 at the time of this writing) that can save you a few bucks.

Let’s look at how these two smartwatches compare when it comes to basic specs.

When it comes to the internals of these two smartwatches, what they can track and what you can do with them are pretty much identical. Both run on an Exynos W1000 processor and come loaded with Wear OS 6. Both have 64GB storage (that’s double that of the 2024 edition of the Galaxy Watch Ultra) and 2GB RAM.

Both track all the usual suspects when it comes to health, wellness, and vitals, thanks to the inclusion of a Samsung BioActive sensor. This includes workouts, calorie burn, activity levels, sleep, stress, temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen, and more. They offer tailored sleep coaching, an area where Samsung has been upping the ante. This includes the ability to detect moderate to severe signs of sleep apnea.

There’s also Vascular Load tracking, which monitors your stress levels during sleep, and Antioxidant Index to measure your carotenoid levels. These relate to dietary intake and metabolism, and the data can help you make more informed lifestyle choices.

To use the latter, you need to remove the watch and place your finger on the underside sensor, which isn’t ideal, but it’s worth doing if cartenoid level measurements are important to you. High Stress Alerts will ping you if either watch notices your stress levels are too high, prompting you to take a breath. There’s also a mindfulness tracker and energy score.

Runners will love the Running Coach, which calculates your fitness level on a scale from one to 10 and delivers a customized and personalized training plan with real-time guidance and motivational insights to help you along on your journey. Using Together, you can also challenge friends and family for further motivation. Both also incorporate dual-frequency GPS for tracking your runs, hikes, walks, cycles, and other outdoor activities.

One big update with both the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is the inclusion of Google Gemini out of the box, replacing the outdated Google Assistant smart voice assistant. With this, you can summon Gemini with natural voice commands, whether that’s to initiate a workout, check on your calendar, or simply ask questions about what’s going on around you. Samsung worked closely with Google to ensure that there’s seamless integration with its first-party Wear OS apps.

Speaking of which, you can also keep on top of things by leveraging the multi-info tiles and Now Bar, which keeps your most crucial notifications front and center.

Let’s consider your biggest upgrades with that model compared to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. It’s lighter but also thicker, has a larger display, longer battery life, and is more durable. It’s really designed to be the adventurer’s watch. So, if you’re the type of person who participates in a lot of outdoor sports, especially underwater activities, you’ll find value in it.

We haven’t yet tested the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 but based on Michael Hicks’ review of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024 model), if the iterative update offers even slight improvements, it won’t disappoint. He calls that model “a great smartwatch that’s enjoyable to use,” applauding how powerful and reliable it is. We also named the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra among the best waterproof smartwatches you can buy, and chances are the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 will take its spot on the list.

Interestingly, Hicks said last year that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra falls between casual and serious users. Given this, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is even more skewed to the casual side, but with all the same features serious users will appreciate, minus the extra battery life and durability, and with a cool rotating bezel. It’s the more elegant-looking of the two watches without sacrificing too much. So, it will likely be the preference for most users.

Bottom line: if you have an older model to trade in and it brings the price of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 in line with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, it’s worth considering. But it’s not necessary for most people unless you’re heavy into water and other outdoor sports, or you’re a power user where every last minute of battery life counts. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a lovely medium that affords all the same features at a more affordable price and with a similar yet more stylish design.

If you want something smaller, consider the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. If you already have the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024), don’t bother upgrading just yet. It’s not a big enough jump in features to warrant it.

After weeks of trading above the $100,000 threshold, Bitcoin’s price has fallen below this psychological level with the heightened bearish state of the crypto market. However, the flagship asset has recovered to this level, and it is now trading slightly above $102,000. Within this waning price action is a positive trend and activity spotted among key BTC investors.

Classic BTC Whales Maintain a Neutral Stance

During the weekend, Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline as macroeconomic conditions remained bearish. On-chain data shows that BTC’s waning price action has not entirely influenced the conviction of many investors, especially whales.

Alphractal, a data analytics and investment platform, reported that the true and classic whale investors are still maintaining a neutral stance, neither bullish nor bearish. The platform revealed the development following its investigation of the Bitcoin Whale Transaction metric to gauge big investors’ transactions. 

According to the platform, the volume of on-chain BTC transactions over $100,000 stays at neutral to low levels. A look at the chart shows that this trend and position also occurred back in 2020, indicating a potential market reaction akin to that of the 2020 bull cycle.

Such steady behavior from whales points to a wait-and-see strategy by these investors, indicating neither terror nor euphoria. Despite short-term volatility, their neutrality might indicate greater market apprehension or faith in Bitcoin’s long-term course.

The on-chain platform highlighted that OG Whales usually shift enormous amounts of BTC during bull runs. However, this trend identified among these key investors in the bull market phase has not happened since 2022.

Bitcoin’s recent pullback has raised concerns about its near-term prospects as the flagship asset dropped to the Short-Term Holders Realized Price. Alphractal noted that Bitcoin had reached the STH realized price after declining below the $99,000 zone.

According to Alphractal, this is the point where it hits the average price of every BTC bought in the last 155 days. In the meantime, the expert has urged investors to be extra cautious since this could be the primary short-term support.

BTC To Rally In The Near Term

While BTC struggles to regain upside traction, Batman, a crypto expert, stated that the asset is still holding strong at support and showing good resilience. Since rising above the $100,000 mark, Bitcoin has maintained its position above this level for over 44 straight days, reflecting its resilience even during market whirlwinds. “That’s a good sign in the tough market we have seen lately,” he added.

Batman noted that if this support continues to hold, BTC may push toward the $120,000 level in the short term. This expected surge aligns with the last phase of the Wyckoff theory, which the expert believes will start sooner or later.

The same wallet, known as the “BJTM,” has launched three other Eric Trump tokens that had already rushed over quickly. Based on CoinMarketCap data, over 736 mimicking tokens have been pushed into the official card wallet space. Of those, 192 use Trump’s surname, and 67 claim to be “official.” Even Elon Musk’s name appears in at least 35 people.

Global political targets

Scammers aren’t stopped at our numbers. In April, the UK’s MP Lucy Powell’s verified X account was hijacked to promote fake Solana tokens. It took advantage of her 70,000 followers to net only 225 people, but showed that trustworthy badges were cheating on people.

Based on this pattern, analysts will be warned. When the value of the token spikes without a clear backing and most coins are sitting in some wallets, it is a signal to retreat. Blind loyalty to political or other names can turn into economic pain.

What’s coming next

The more political meme coins pop up, the more risks it gets. All high profile names can be bait. Investors should check who holds the token, monitor rapid launches on cheap networks like Solana, and keep in mind that it can disappear so quickly that the hype appears.

In a space where hype often outweighs the foundations, maintaining alerts may be the best way to come to mind.

According to Jascrypto, if Polkadot maintains momentum and closes above these critical levels, it may pave the way for a rally toward the $5.5 to $6.0 range in the near term. This move would mark a significant recovery phase for DOT, attracting fresh bullish interest from investors.

In an alternative scenario, Jascrypto noted that the worst-case outcome might see Polkadot dipping as low as $3.120 on higher timeframes. However, he added that such a move could set the stage for a much stronger rebound, propelling the price above the $7 mark once momentum returns.

Momentum Indicators Lean Bullish – Is DOT Ready To Run?

Momentum indicators are beginning to align in favor of the bulls, offering promising signals that Polkadot may be gearing up for a meaningful move higher. The 4-hour Relative Strength Index (RSI) has rebounded from oversold territory, hovering near the midpoint around 50. This shift indicates that bearish momentum is fading, and buyers may be gradually regaining control.

Adding to the optimistic trend, the 4-hour Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) has shown a bullish crossover, where the MACD line crosses above the signal line. A move that often marks the beginning of a new uptrend or a pause in prior downside pressure. Combined, the RSI’s recovery and the MACD’s bullish signal suggest that DOT’s momentum is shifting favorably, setting the stage for a potential breakout continuation if price action remains strong.

Microsoft Stream is an enterprise video streaming service that allows organizations to upload and share videos in Microsoft 365 apps, such as Teams and SharePoint.

Video content hosted on Microsoft Stream was accessed or embedded through a portal at microsoftstream.com.

In September 2020, Microsoft announced they were deprecating the Microsoft Stream classic service and moving it into SharePoint.

Organizations were told to migrate their Microsoft Stream videos to the new platform by April 2024, when the service was retired.

Microsoft Streams classic domain hijacked

Today, the Microsoft Streams classic domain, microsoftstream.com, was hijacked to display a website imitating Amazon that acts as a phishing page for a Thai online casino, as shown below.

It is unclear if the domain was hijacked or DNS modified to show the news site, but WHOIS records show that a change was made to the domain on March 27, 2025.

As a result of the hijack, SharePoint servers that still had embedded videos from the classic microsoftstream.com domain, were now seeing this spam page in pages.

“This afternoon, a user reported a suspicious website on our intranet, that is using microsoftstream.com. After some analysis, it turns out the domain is currently redirecting to a sketchy website signed by ‘Ibiza99’,” reported a SharePoint admin on Reddit.

“Here’s an interesting one for you all. I just got a call that our SharePoint site was showing spam instead of embedded videos. Interesting, I thought. I wonder how that could happen,” another Reddit thread explained.

“So I jumped on to see the issue, site is using embedded video from an aspx page on the SharePoint layout. It is definitely showing spam.”

Earlier today, the domain was shut down again, blocking the spam page from appearing in SharePoint.

“We are aware of these reports and have taken appropriate action to further prevent access to impacted domains,” Microsoft told BleepingComputer when asked about the incident.

However, Microsoft did not share further information about how the domain was hijacked.

Thankfully, the threat actors behind this hijack did not attempt to conduct a more harmful campaign, such as distributing malware through fake software updates or other messages that would have been displayed on SharePoint servers.

One of the few ways to play 32-bit games is to simply use an old phone, but this won’t be feasible years down the line.

A widely followed analyst is outlining the potential path forward for Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL) and other crypto assets.

The analyst pseudonymously known as InvestAnswers tells his 563,000 YouTube subscribers that Bitcoin, Solana and other crypto assets are in a “classic bear trap.”

A bear trap is a situation where a decline is interpreted as the start of a bearish trend when it is a temporary development that will reverse upwards.

“I think we’re still in the bull market. I’m 95% sure we’re still in the bull market. But this bear trap is designed to break your heads. Do not leave. Do not leave at this stage, ladies and gentlemen.”

Turning to Bitcoin, the pseudonymous analyst says that a bullish reversal pattern has formed on the crypto king.

“[Bitcoin has] been staggering around this area [around $82,000] for like seven or eight days. So it’s a classic double bottom, which is what I like to see.”

Bitcoin is trading at $81,602 at time of writing.

On Solana, the pseudonymous analyst says the sixth-largest crypto asset by market cap is “drastically undervalued” at the moment.

“A few weeks ago I did a math model – if Solana was valued like Bitcoin based on users, based on revenue, based on adoption, based on transactions, etc. the market cap would be $24 trillion.

Bitcoin’s $2 trillion. So it would be 12 times more valuable than Bitcoin. And I know Bitcoin is a store of value and stuff but just putting things in perspective. Cream will eventually float to the top. We just don’t know when.”

Solana is trading at $125 at time of writing.
